"To Kill a Mocking Girl" - Tonight @ 8/7c

Tune in to Pretty Little Liars on ABC Family at 8/7c


If you've read Flawless, you know that Toby Cavanaugh is one of Rosewood's creepiest residents. Ali accused him of being a perv and a Peeping Tom. Emily, however, can't help but relate to Toby as an outsider. After all, he arrives just as she's questioning whether or not she herself fits in.

Watch episode three of Pretty Little Liars, "To Kill a Mocking Girl" tonight at 8/7c on ABC Family, and meet Toby face to face for the first time. Is he simply the freak that Ali always said he was or is his case not quite so cut and dry?

When you first encountered Toby in Flawless did you sympathize with him, fear him, or find him totally creepy?

well when i FIRST met him in Flawless i thought he was creepy but as the book went on i sympathized him and i felt so bad when flawless was over

At first I thought he was creepy because of the way Alison discribed him, but later on in the book i realized never to trust Ali because Toby was a good guy. By the end of the book I was so mad what Emily made him do i felt so hearbroken.

I love Toby, yea he was a bit creepy cause the way Ali described him and stuff, but he was a good guy, he was just struggling with his life, I LOVE TOBY, and i think Keegan Allen is a good choice for him in the show!!(:

Guess what everyone im here to spill there friend is dead she has a twin sister and her twin sister was in crazy rehab because she was crazy and she got out and pushed the dead girl down a ditch that was the scream one of them heard and now shes out to get them. I thought Toby was kind of creepy at first but later in the book I kind of felt bad for him cuz he just seemed lonely and wanted a friend. He didnt deserve to die ):

at first, i was afraid of Toby and creeped out by him. but after we found out more, i felt bad and i agree with ella...he really didnt deserve what he got. ali shouldnt have treated him like that.

Okay so I'm guessing there are two "Izzy's" now? The one thats 14 and then theres me :) and I'm 16 , as of a few days ago...Anyway I thought the show tonight was awesome! Freaken Toby though , he's scary! I liked how he gave Emily a little smirk after she left...meaning he has a little bit of a crush on her! But I didn't like how Aria confronted Merideth , from what I remember she doesn't in the book. AND how Hanna just took off with her boyfriends car WITHOUT MONA! Hated that. And Mona is in the books waaay more then what she is in the show. And what the heck was with the creaper (if sticking to the books it's Mona) putting up all those pictures of Emily and Maya. Ben was supposed to walk in on them , not have someone else take the photo's...All in all good episode , it's gettin good :)

I thought Toby was really creepy in the TV show and in the book I didn't really think he was as creepy in "Flawless" as he was in the first book. Also, I felt kind of bad for him at the end of "Flawless" because he thought that Emily knew about what he did to Jenna, but she wasn't even talking about that when she told him that "she knew", and it kind of caused him to do what he did at the end(for those who have read "Flawless", I never saw "it" coming and was totally shocked). In the end, I decided that I thought Toby had tried to fix his life and make up what he did to Jenna, so I sympathised for him

I thought Toby was creepy at first. Then I decided he was misunderstood. Once you got to know him,like Emily did, he really wasn't that bad. The only reason why he was creepy is because the only people describing him were the peope who didn't know him, and just judged by some of his actions.

yeah well the show is great. :] im a little confused but i guess thats ohhkay given its a series and ill figure everything out later. I haven't read the book yet but is it suppose to be the same as the show, LIke all the information in the book like who the killer is and who all the people are???

Just because that's what happened in the book doesn't mean it will play out in the show like that.

When I first met Toby in Flawless, I was honestly creeped out. He seemed like a creeper, though the weird stuff that happened is just from the experiences of the five girls, the "liars". Later on however, I thought that Emily and Toby would be a cute couple, until the book led me to believe that Toby was "A." Again, I shouldn't have believed it, because there were more books, and why would the real "A" be revealed in the 2nd book, but it still made sense. I think that it's interesting that we were given the greatest hint, 'Ali killed Ali', yet I couldn't figure it out until the end. It was right under my nose, and I was disappointed because I wanted to figure it out without the book, however these are the best books I've ever read. Thank you Sara Shepard, I can't wait to read your next book.

Thanks a lot Hidden. Why would you ruin an ending like that; it was mean spirited and bitchy. You don't have to be a jerk, let everyone find out the ending be themselves.

I really dont think Emily should be blamed. He was scaring her, and i would probably be really scared too. In the end of Flawless when Emily told Toby she knew what he did, she didnt expect him to go kill himself. It was a misunderstanding. Whether Toby was sorry or not for what he did to Jenna, it was wrong ... and VERY gross !

At first i was creeped out. To have someone watching you at all times is well stalker-ish. However as the book progressed, i believed that Toby truly changed. From being nice enough to forgive Emily and saving her, i was convinced that Toby was a new person.
