My review of this television show is not good. "Pretty Little Liars" airs on ABC Family, the key word here being "family" and yet, the only parts of this show that I can remember as of yet are the fact that a high school student teacher is having an relationship with one of his students and two high school girls are sleeping together while one of them has a boyfriend. Doesn't this strike you as a bit odd? Is this the kind of television show that we allow our kids to watch these days?

I really like the show. It is amazing!!!! Jenna is a little creepy especially on the last episode. Aria is my favorite though I love her!! I can't wait till next TUESDAY!!! :D

I think the show is okay. @Searles, it's based on the book. Secret Life is more maturer. And also it isn't for kids. It's for more of teens, striking teenagers 12 and up. If you want to watch something else for your child, just go watch Hannah Montana. Simple as that. I don't mean to be disrespectful, but if you don't like the show, why comment on the books website? You should go on abcfamily and talk about how you hate the show. This is the book website.

Okay so I love PLL! I just started reading the books and show is exactly how i pictured it. Jenna creeps me out and I didn't get the last part of her sitting there on the phone and Spencer watching? I think Ali's alive, but I don't think she's the only one sending the messages... As for the comment above mine, about abc 'family' thing, you need to read the books before you judge the show. It is pg-13, so honestly you don't need to complain on this website about it, try going to abc.com and complaining to them! But anywho the books are great!(:

I absolutely loved it and an now obsessed with this show I downloaded the first one free on iTunes and bought the second one and I watched them both. I'm sooo excited for the third one!! I think Emily and Tina or Tia or whatever the whole thing with them is werid but other than that it's amazing. =]

Brittany. Do you even read the books? If you don't you can just leave. If you are a fan of the BOOK SERIES you should be aloud to comment on the show. You know why? Because we took the time to read the books before the show came out. We've been following the books since they came out and we would appreciate it if they actually took them seriously, and atleast made it look like they TRIED to follow the books and cast well. ABC Family doesn't care about our opinion. They just want money and they know they can get it from people who don't read because they're to lazy, and don't know how terrible the show really is. @Justine, wherever you are in the world THANKKK YOUUUU! THANK YOUUU!! THANK YOUUUU!!!! I can't even watch the show without yelling at the T.V. every few seconds. I mean some things are right but, seriously; a blond Hannah and a brunette Spencer?? And it's not as dramatic as it should be. When I heard Pretty Little Liars was coming to T.V. it made my freaking yearrr! But I am seriously dissapointed. Especially because the producers are supposedly the people who produce The Vampire Diaries, which even is Amazing! Then again Vampire Diaries is on the CW, which @DeSHea, you're right Pretty Little Liars should've been. @Mary Zurn and Searles, If it's honestly as bad as you say, why are you watching it?? There are plenty of other "kid-friendly" things on at 8-11 o'clock on a Tuesday night. Which, if you're worried about your kids soooo much, is kind of late don't you think?? Anywayss, Hopefully the show will get better in some way, shape or form.

i havnt read the serries yet but i am going to this smmer, with school and all i havnt had a chance to, but...any ways....i just watched last night's episode and im soooo confused on wh A is, at first i thought Ali was still alive and she and Maya knew eachother at Maya was spying and telling Ali everything and then Ali knew about everyting and cold send the texts. but then i realized...if Maya and Emily are sleeping together (weird...am i rite?) then how could Maya tell Ali what was going on. alsooo...what the hell was that at the end with jenna??... is she A? and i dnt think she is really blind...she is just like faking it...idk...i guess ill just have to wait till ext week! p.s. please dont go all out on me... i know this i the book site, but ppl were talking about the show...so i commented...kkthxbia!

I just turned 13 and my mother and I watch this show together every Tuesday, and my mother is very strict on what she let's me watch, so there is no reason to ban this show, it is perfectly fine. If there are children watching this show and they shouldn't be there parents need to check up on them better!

Last nights episode was great. I am in love with the show its so good, I am on the edge of seat everytime i watch it. The one thing that i was confused about is at the end when Spencer sees Jeanna sending a text, but other than that i thought it was a GREAT episode!!!!!! -Nicole :)

I think that the first episode blew through the 1st book leaving out vital details. As for the second episode...well only like 3 things in the episode were from the series. The series is good...but the translation from book to show got screwed up. Ethnicities were changed, hair color, time lapses. And HANNA WASNT FAT!!! oh well. : (

The pretty Little Liars books were great, I was soo addicted to them. I was really excited to see the show on ABC Family, and the first episode was okay, but they messed up the character descriptions & left ALOT out. Then the second episode, seemed like they skipped everything from the books, and then made something else up. I hope they follow the books more and explain things better, cause so far, they messed it up, and are making it in to something totally different.

I've been reading these books for like two and a half years, so yah. i like the show, but not in comparison to the books. the thing is, you just have to try not to compare the two. books are always better, ALWAYS. the show..ughh there are DEFINITELY things about it that bug me. But i guess its good, if you dont compare it to the books. I dont really know. I mean, I'll keep watching, but I'm not in love with it.

YESS; I watched the show last night. I think that the pretty little liers are the typical popular girls at the school. Till Ali dissapered then all the girls started to find themselfs. -> one thing that i really do hope that happens is that the guy that cheated on his wife with her sister... gets together with the sister <3 true love ! sorry im not good with there names yet (:

I thought last nights episode was good. I was confused at the end when Jenna said "Send Message" oh well i guess i will find out when I read the books. I am really dissapointed in the show! They casted all the wrong people to play the girls (except I think they did a pretty good job with aria), and they changed it from the book so much! These books are the best I have read in my whole life, and they shouldn't be touched lol. I don't see why they would change it, becuase what happenes in the book is way more interesting than what happened in the show, and, if I remember right, it was alot more appropriate too haha! But yeah, I'm still going to watch but I still won't let this stuff slide. I can't watch an episode without getting mad about all the differences!

Last night was so awesome! But i cant believe Spencer would do that to her sister! Mr.Fitz was really hot so i don't blame Aria. After Spencer saw Jenna sending text messages i think wont say anything to the girls but just maybe watch Jenna for more proof that it's Jenna thats sending the text messages. That police officer was annoying! Why can't he just understand these girls. I just cant wait for the next episode!

OMG "The Jenna Thing" episode has benn the best episode yet it! I honestly think that it is Jenna that is sending them those txt messages and she's signing "A" at the end of the messages to scare them. Towards the end off the episode did u see Spencer jogging and coming around the corner when she heard Jenna say send txt message. That is really freaky. And also lol (i talk to much) I think it was Jenna because at the lunch table she said " Jenna told me a couple of secrets too." Well we will just have to wait til the next episode to see what happens nxt.

I think the actress that plays Spencer looks way too old for the part. She can pass for a junior in college or something. My favorite character is Aria...she's so pretty and she ACTUALLY looks 16. I think the little affair thing going on with her teacher is a little confusing but it's hott...sorta? I wish they would tell us the "Jenna Thing" already! The last bit of the episode freaked me outt...were they trying to play it like Jenna is "A"? Hannahs mom is complete ho. She's setting a terrible example for her daughter!

Wow that episode was intense my thoughts are did anyone here notice how in the first episode Spencer saw Allison in the window of her old house and then a few min later they found her body strangled in the backyard of her old house hmm I wonder here I my major suspects: Jenna,That police officer,Jenna, Jenna and last but not least Jenna oh and major question is Jenna even blind and I hope it wasn't her sending the texts cuz that would mean Allison is really dead and the show would be boring but it is not boring

I haven't read the books, I'm just here looking for a spoil from someone who has. I understand that shows kind of ruin book series for long time followers. Especially when people start reading them also, JUST because of the show. It's kind of a bummer when you've been fans from the first release. My question is.. What are the PLL's hiding? All I can figure is they're lying about what happened to the blind girl.. Jenna? Spencer may have seen what happened to Ali or her twin or whatever. But that's all I can gather. Do they really do anything bad besides make friends with the crazy Ali or her twin who's ruining their lives?

This show is so good! It's pretty creepy (okay i scare pretty easily but I love anything horror or mystery) Some of the things are really predictable, but that also makes it fun to watch and guess. I SO called the Jenna thing (the part at the very end of this episode) Overall a good show. btw, I'm 13, so at least for my age group I'd rate it an 8 or 9 out of 10

i LOVE this show!!! i cant watch it on tv cuz i dont hav the channel but i watch it on the computer. this show is amazing and i think all of the girls are very pretty, especially the blonde (sorry i forget her character's name but the actress is ashley benson). its getting a little creepy tho, especially with all the texts and jenna. im looking forward to seeing episode 2!!!

I have read all the books so far and I think they are great. Its interesting to watch the show knowing all the twists and turns that are to come and even knowing who actually "done it". That is if Wanted is Sara Shepard's last PLL book, there might be yet another twist to come (I doubt it though)! I think the whole 'Jenna sends a text' thing was just to show that she COULD send a text. Because she is blind I'm sure she was ruled out as -A because it was assumed that she couldn't send a text. The last scene shows that there is technology that allows blind people to text too. I hope this show sparks the interests/imaginations of people and they go out and read the books. I am all for anything that encourages people to read! Great job with the books Sara Shepard!

Okay So Its Funny How The People who didnt read the BOOK Series love this show... I LOVE the books. Ive Read the whole series. So i am one of the people who dont like the show... not because its not "Kid Friendly" becuz im not a child, but because its doesnt really put the detail in that was in the book. Plus for all the parents out there who think this is a bad show for kids.. FIRST OFF this is NOT a childs show. I read the series before the show came out and before they decided to actually make the show. There are some things tht are cool and the others rnt as good. I was expecting more from the producers of VD but I guess its getting better but I am hoping it does because the books r uh-mazin and I think the show should be too. Have any of you guys actually read the books? Or are you passing yourselfs a the BIGGEST fan even if your not? The show is not ah-mazing as i had hoped it to be. I am dissapointed they jumping right into things! i loved the books before it became a tv series..so all the haters asking questions go read the darn books! or i wil answer ur questions

I like the show, but nothing is at all of how I pictured, except for Maya. I know it's pretty impossible to find people that match the entire description of the dolls on the cover, but they could at least get the same hair color, just saying. Jenna is super freaky, I thought she was more quiet and not as creepy. Overall, I like it and I watch it every Tuesday!!!

I really think they should of used the girls on the cover of the books for the show:( It kinda killed the whole illusion..

honestly every book and tv show and movie are going to be different because with putting every detail into a show or movie itll take up more time. maybe they thought most of the details from the book werent really important~!!!! i honestly love this show and i could care less what people think of this tv series over the books. i soo cant wait for next weeks episode :D ahhhhh. i wanna know who really is A- the anonymous text messager. i wonder if it really is Jenna.

Even thou the show does not resemble the book i like it! I still think hanna should be played by the girl who plays emily and spencer should be the girl who plays hannah! also i think the girl who plays spencer should go away and get a red head to play emily!! Any way its just my opinion! i still love it!!

i like the tv show... its just a little slow at times. i like aria the most and emily and hanna are good to, but spencer is not very good. ali is perfect just how i imagined her. and i kind of like how they dont stay exactly true to the books because that would be boring and they cant fit every single detail into the tv show. and everyone that hasnt read the books you should they are amazing! a little different but better than the tv show.

Omigod!! I absolutely love these books and so far the t.v. show is pretty freaking awesome!!!! Aria is definately my favorite! Lucy Hale is crazy beautiful!!! But I think they are all pretty gorgeous!! Wow Ezra and Wren and Sean are pretty HOT!!!! I still need to finish the books but im sure they will just get better and better!!!!!
