i think this new a is someone that was involved with ali's dissapearrance. i say this because i've noticed that new a actually KNOWS things that can help them solve the mysteries. the old a just pretended to know things to make the girls paranoid. when in reality the only thing old a knew was what was in the diary! cause if she knew anything she would have knew about the possibility of alison being alive.

I personally think that Alison has a twin. When you piece everything together it makes sense. At Ali's funeral they see a swish of blond hair that resembles Alison's in a limousine. After this apperance they see countless flashes of blonde hair. When they are younger Ali runs back inside there school when just few seconds later they saw a glance of someone who looks almost identical to Ali. And last but not least, at the end of Killer Ali seems to have come back from the dead, but what if it isn't Alison? What if it is Alisons twin....

Also, I personally think that Wilson might, maybe just maybe be A. the only piece of evidence I can think of was when Wilson was interviewing the girls for a police file. In the middle of the interview, he has to "take a call". After a few minutes later all 4 girls receive a text from A, immediatly after Wilson returns.....

Also, remember after they found Ian all blue (and they assumed he was dead) in the woods and they went searching for wilden to show him, they looked for like 1/2 an hour! So maybe he was invlved with the IAn thing and the murderer and stuff. And +, i wonder wat that lil note in the yearbook was suppose to mean....

***SPOILER*** A sends emily to lancaster pretending shes amish there she stays with this girl named lucy and they become close friends. lucy tells emily about how her sister's boyfriend was amish and went to live in the real world instead of being amish she said he made her sister go with him and she disapeared and they thought he killed her. turns out the boyfriend was darren wilden and he killed lucy's sister on june 19 one night before ali died. emily thinks its lucys sister they found not ali and that darren helped ali escape somewhere

SPOILER----- They found ali's killer. he's one of the workers, working in ali's back yard. later he kills Jenna the same way. i don't think ali's dead though i still think it is wildens old girlfriend from lancaster(leah). she went missing june 19th and ali went missing on june 20th. i think ali is Iris the girl at the mental hospital, she went to radly to. they registered her as jason. thats why when spencer, hannah, and aria were all away in early june emily couldn't get a hold of ali she was at the hospital, Iris said she was at a mental hospital around that time and got out the same time as ali. ali is hiding at the mental hospital she switches every time someone start to catch on.

Maya- The first A was Mona. I know that much although Im on the fourth. Then after Mona the new A had clues to help them actually solve the murder. The first A (Mona) read everything from Ali's old diary. The new A is probably involved with Ali's disappearence in some way shape or form. I also believe Melissa knows something, she seems TOO perfect, and probably Spencer's mom too. Her mom seemed to freak out when they mentioned being sisters. I think maybe they are half sisters because one of Spencers parents may have cheated with one of Ali's parents and that would explain their similiar appearances. Just a thought though.

I liked Emily with Isacc better, and NOT because he's a guy, but because she seemed more relaxed and safe with him....till the whole "My-Mother-Doesn't-Like-You-So-She-Cut-Your-Head-Off-In-A-Picture-Incident" happend and Isacc didn't believe her. But i also think that Emily is getting way over head with being totally in love with Ali, i mean yeah shes pretty and popular but if someone was being a biotch to me and bossying me around when i was youger then i would put that beezy in her place, and i would never forget. Plus what all Aria, Hanna, Spencer, and Emily don't realize is they are all just there to be "One MInute Friends" they are temporary friends not the whole thing, but thats what makes the series i guess, and its funny....but back to the point i want Emily with Isacc

I can't wait to read this book... Emily is one of my fave characters because she has more hidden depths than an iceberg (almost). It seems to me she alternates between girls and guys. I liked her with Isaac though, he accepted her for her and it was unfair that he jumped to conclusions about the photo with her head cut out... I think A has tipped Isaac's mom off to Emily's past (her dating girls) and that's why she hates Emily. Besides which, the fact that she (probably) knows they did it doesn't help

Good point, SJ!! But, I want Em to be with a girl. She was really awesome with Isaac, though. However, in the first four books, she dealt with her sexuality. Denial, coming out, having her parents ship her to freakin' Iowa, etc. In 'Wicked', she met Isaac, and it all fell apart with him. I just think that it will fit the story better if she got another girlfriend. Considering all she had to deal with. It kind of seems pointless if she doesn't, you know? About Em's plot in books 1-4. Em is one of my favorite characters! =D

I dont believe Ali died @ all. I think that she ran away, and they killed some1, but only if spencer remembered what happened........ ugghhh. anyway. Im confused tho, because @ the end of unbelievable there was a limo, and a person with blonde hair and blue eyes had looked @ them when they were @ the funeral. The people I think are suspects of being A is..... Jenna, (because she is always around, every1 gets creeped out and she stares @ them, but who knows if she can see.) Naomi, Riley, Melissa, Kate(not so much tho) or Jason. Or maybe A is minpulating people to do their dirty work. And I believe officer Wilden kno who it is...... As for whats going to happen to Emily.... idk. She might hurt herself.

I don't think that Ali would deserve Emily's devotion, I mean, she disappeared, made everyone think she was dead, and broke Emily's heart forever. She probobly would be SO HAPPY if Ali was alive, but she wouldn't want Ali to feel the same way about her. She basicly killed Emily with pain. That must have been devistated when she saw Ali in the fire and she just disappeared again. Breaking her heart another time around. Poor Em! I support you and I hope you choose the right way to go. i liked isaac... maya bothered me... idky... and ben too... i wish the characters that were major parts in the older books came back into the series... like ezra... and all of them... i dont like that characters just randomly vanish out of the series b/c the relationship ended or sumthin.. ive been reading these books since they first came out.. during the opening week of the very first one.. i bought it on the newly released table.. i loved it... i have read everyone of these books in just a day everytime i get them.. and they have been recycled thru my friends many times.. no1 around where i live had heard of the series until i started giving it to everyone! lol FAVE SERIES EVER! its like a teen version of lifetime movies.. only as books! haha

It wasn't in heartless at all. :( I really want Ali to be alive but I don't think it's going to happen. ALSO! On Sara Shepards Twitter it says Emilys new love is someone you met before. Well, since Jenna is dead, Emily will probably go to Mya for info since Jenne and Mya talked a lot. And maybe while trying to get info, she falls back in love? Idk, it seems like she went through an awful lot with the whole lesbian ordeal just to end up straight again.

I think that one of the workers killed her. she did say that they were harassing her. and the new A is Jenna. Although Jenna is blind, it seems she was pretty tight with Ali, and Ali had to have some issues. I read Heartless and they found some pills prescribed to Ali but the medicine was scratched off. Jenna could have known because she knew Jenna wouldn't tell anyone. And i think the "sibling Issues" were Jason had problems and he would freak Ali out.

Okay, I do believe that the body in the hole was actually Leah Zook, not Ali. Lucy told Emily that during rumspringa, Leah chose not to go back to the Amish faith, and they never saw her again. They considered her dying, and thats what I believe. Darren Wilden claims that he would never hurt Leah, but there seems to be something strange with Wilden. I think he's hiding something deeper then evidence.

gosh, Sara Shepard literally blows my mind. She is an amazing writing, and I have enjoyed reading all the Pretty Little Lairs series. I just finished Heartless and my mind is so twisted around who is actually A or who is actually Ali's killers. I have come up with so many theories on who could actually be A or Ali's killer, but every charpter in all the books makes me change who I thought it really was. I can't wait till WANTED!

I also agree that ali's alive, and probably has a twin. but remember when spencer thought that she killed ali. then they found ali (or leah's) body in the hole. so i think that even though some people forgot about what spencer thought, i think she still might have had to do something with the murder... who knows

I just finished Heartless, it was amazing but i feel the book ended so abruptly and very weird. I can't wait till the next one comes out i've become obsessed lmfao, Well i think Ali's still alive and i think this girl Leah's in the hole in Ali's old backyard. Personally i feel Maya and Emily were good together and i hope they get back together because there so cute. Emily is deffinatly my favourite character shes strong but shy. Just like myself i can relate to her. Athought just occured to me, though everyone says that Leah was killed a day before Ali's death, yayaya, But they weren't for sure if she was dead or not. Right. So what Leah knew that Wilden had a thing For Ali and had gotten jealous, so she tracked her down and killed her, then she had wilden all to herself, wilden found out she killed ali and in turn killed her.

I have a theory: Remember when Aria had the dream in Perfect about the ghostly Ali stepping in front of Aria's camera while she was making a movie? Ali had said "Look closer! It's right in front of you! It's right there!" I think she was talking about her killer, like in front of Aria was Ali. Hence to "Ali killed Ali."

Emily should get over it she didnt see Ali for real but she did find out about Leah Zook being buried in the hole in Ali's backyard so that proves that it wasnt Ali's body in that hole so at this point right now no one knows where Ali's real body is so there is still a chance Ali could be out there alive but i doubt that is true.

i think Emily did see her in the woods too. but i dont think she should just drop everything and go back to Ali. She deserves more than what she settles for. And honestly, i am not that happy that Ali is back because it could create way more drama. but it could also help them figure everything out. i dont think Ali deserves Emily's devotion. Emily needs to move on...and not go back to Isaac either.

OMG! I have to get my friends to start reading these series. I tell them about it and they say it sounds stupid, but I told them, "You guys have to read them! They are the best things ever! I love them! And I will make my friend Taylor, the total crittic, she will tell you what she flat out thinks of anything, like a tv show, she will tell you that she hates it or a book or something. So when she reads it and gives my friends her approval or disapproval, I will let them all read it cuz , I love this about my friends, they are so eager and curious about everything, I just love them so much! IIII think that new a is not ali but her "twin" because maybe one killed the other because she had mental and jealousy problems thats y the twin prented 2 b ali so that she can live in the life of a popular chik. @Cody. I just got one of my friends hooked and I brought the series into my classroom and temporarily donated it to my classroom. I made sure that no guys got to read it. And every now and then I will let the guys skim through it and I see the look of enjoyment on their faces but when they give it back to me they think they have to look all cool and they always go,"Here is your book back S--i, it was not as good as you said it was." But thenI heree them talking with some of the others guys in my class saying, "I onder who -A is." Though they only read through the first two books, and I want to jump up and yell, "Guys, is it NOT obvious? It's MONA VANDERWAAL!!!!!!!" I love these series and I love my class.(The S--I part is my name which I will not display.)

@frilly thats what i originally thought because i know the girls have been through a lot but she always gets worked up over the silliest things. and all the other girls know that the best thing to do is to stay calm. but i think emily is so emotional because she hasn't had to deal with so many bad things before and she doesn't know how to organize her thoughts before they freak out.

okay, well here it goes...im 13 I have long strawberry blonde hair it is straight, i used to model bathing suits for Justcice..(if you know what that is) and i have alot of great friends and all of u girls are one of them! k i think that ali has a twin and the twin went to the mental institute that hanna went to! And she is iris's old roomie (can't remember her name) and thats how iris knew what ali looked like and drew her face on that wall! i think A found out a bunch of random info that is somewhat like ali's death so all the girls would get confused and think ali died in a different way! A tricked Spencer and made her ruin her life! and i think that sometimes ali's twin impersonated ali and hung out with spence, aria, emily and hanna and pretended to be ali so thats why alis emotion sometimes changed!

I was trying to find the person who said that to you, and well, I did. (Nervous small laugh) The girl was pretty, and I thought, Wow! This person is beautiful! I didn't think I would find her, I didn't get her name, and I can't tell you how, for certain reasons. (I don't want ya'll ggoing out and finding people then coming to there house and hurting or killin' em') But,, that was scary and I swore to myself that I would never do it again. It was freaky, I barley slept last night. I don't know why though. i think alison is alive! i dont think she has a twin though.. i did at first but, i think that leah zook's body & the police ( mainly wilden) are covering it up. ( remember? they didnt want to bury her cause they didnt think it was her?) also how would mr ford know all that about them.. he was just some creepy construction guy. he wouldnt know ian middle name, or all that stuff about them or wilden, or help them out kinda? and about the jenna faked her own death is ali thing.. spencer and them would defiantly know if it was ali, just by looking at her features. maybe jenna faked her own death to make everyone who was bothering her go away, but.. i dont think shes alison! allison is alive :D and wilden and jason know something/ had something to do with her disappearing.

Someone previously mentioned Trista and said she had black hair, but in #4 I'm sure it descrived her as looking something like Ali-blond and blue eyed. Remember how in one of the books, it said Ali and her family moved to Rosewood when she was in 3rd grade? So maybe Ali and Iris knew each other from before Ali moved and were friends; that would explain why Iris knew what Ali looks like and who she was. I think Iris just knew Ali from before 3rd grade and still remembers her. Is it known why Ali's family moved to Rosewood?

Guys, love and I lived in Tennesse I dont know why but sh got mad at me and poted the secert. I didnt know why because she was my best freind, but on that same day she moved and she came back atwo years and five months later and i just foun out so we talked and she slept over last night and we spent the night talking and crying and laughing and lisenting to music and catching up and reading our fave parts outta pll and searching through the fone book and calling people and going to the track at 12:00 at night and meeting some of our guy feinds there. Im 15 and im a 5 in juniors! How does that sound? I dont seem to grow! Im natrually skinny! Im not premature or anything, born right on my due date! I look like im 20 years old like they say, 10 is the new 20, for me just add on five years! I just cant seem to find any modeling biz thatll take me. They always call and tell me that the position has been filled, I have been all over the US and still, NO LUCK! K this is some important clues... emily likes both guys and girls, that could mean one thing (she is bi) but it can also mean she is just confused. Even though she liked both maya and ali, she liked the dude (i forgot his name) that commited suicide and isaac. That's two vs. two of the same gender. Also, the new A is giving clues to emily. he/she might know or like emily becuase it (lol) is HELPING her. It could me one of emily's exs. Remeber in wicked, maya was at the bowling ally randomly without anyone. Dressed in white too! sara (author) always mentioned A wearing white. However, when spencer was in the library in Wicked studying, she mentioned breathing marks on the window. It could possibly be a guy because before Wicked when Mona was A, the clues to who A was, was more feminen (sp?). This time (after wicked) the evidence is more masculine. Hope these clues help! :)

I LOVE THESE BOOKS! they are absolutly ahhhhmazing and im obsessed with them! there are so many twists and turns and the plots are soooooooo well written!!!! sara shepard is fantastic!!!! sooo do you think issac will come back? i liked him :) i just have no idea why emilys so sure ali is alive. i feel bad for her, she hasnt had annnny form of closure, and it is veeery unhealthy. but it makes for a good plot! she needs to accept it! i think the vision in the woods was definetly alis spirit :)

Lylah-!Killer, Ali is a witch that deserved to die in the fire. i don't think Emily killed her of course but I do think she is alive and it's her. Those girls should just look at the dang flag because remember they said in the end of one of the books that if they at looked at it more closely before Aria stuffed it in her closet that they could have predicted her death. You couldn't have cracked the code already. This book isn't obvious. The only way you know what happens is the final book. I don't think Mona was ever -A....i think it was a setup. If it wasn't, probably Wilden is -A. He knew Emily went to Lancaster and he's the only person to get access to the DNA room. I think Ali is alive. Courtney or Leah are probably the dead ones. Jenna knew something that probably lead to her death in the first place. Billy couldn't have been the killer. This book isn't OBVIOUS!!!....I think Jason and Mellissa are still on my suspect list...

i think A is prolly ali's mom or somethiing. i agree with nicki that it is someone u would NEVER suspect, but i bet ali told her mom everything and now that spencers dad and ali's mom had somthin goin onn, now victoria (or watever her name is) is gonna show her naughty side. if she is not A then i think darren or ian is. they would kno a ton about ali cuz they both had strong relationships with alii

SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!!! Okayz, so i think Ali is dead, sorry people but we've lost all hope after the DNA anlysis. Anyways i do think she has a twin that possibly is mentally impaired. REMEMBER Spencer saw two blondes in the woods. What if one was Ali's twin?? I personally think that Ali's twin is a giant secret (that's why jason thinks his family is insane) and she lived in a mental hospital and got medication under Ali's name. that would be why jason was checked in to the mental hospital all the time. ali's family lived somewhere else before rosewood and it would not be too hard to cover it up. Also if you look spencer's dad says " I didn't know about the KIDS untill later." ***kidS*** spencer suspected jason was her brother, but what if her dad knew there was TWINS???? Herronjenna@aol.com

@Jenna I agree with your theory, I have lost all hope that Ali is alive.( Im so glad though, I already ordered my copy of Heartless! ) The book series is supposed to end with this book, if Ali is alive there will be to many unanswered questions. I just ont think Sara would do that to her readers.

I've also read some theories that the girls are being hypnotized by ali and it was all just a dream....... I SWEAR TO GOD IF THAT'S WHAT HAPPENS I WILL BE VERY ANGRY!!!! yeah that would completey sukc if that happened. i want it to be real not just a dream. i mean what if in the book we find out all the answer and then the girls just wake up. it's like; BAM! just kidding that never really happened! fooled you! that would totally sukc though but i wouldn't be surprized if they solved everything and then woke up to find ali missing though. i mean occording to an inteview sara said it had all the answars but was a little open ended. that would sove it and be open ended. idk i guess we'll have to wait and see

I think that Jenna Cavanaugh is A. y? because come on if u really had brother who in a way sort did the kinds of things as toby (jennas stepbrother ) thenwhy would you try to blind your self to 1. get him kicked out of the house and 2.to get revenge for what he did in my opinion i wouldn't try to blind myself so i could get my brother to move out, like why didn't she tell her mom or her stepdad but she kept quite and only told Alison to me something was very fishy.

Also i think that Alison's so called killer is MELISSA. because to me melissa was pretty darn sure that ian didn't kill ali and idk if the tension got up to her about ian and ali being together it was probably foward. i mean things are always happening in spencer's court how it's really important to find out who the killer is and you have to be sneaky. To me melissais in the shades and melissa needs to be revealed.

ok so when ali tryed to hypnotize them amd they woke up, they said they had a weird dream that ali fell down a well and there were big plants. on alis flag, she drew a wishing well. at the preserve, iris drew a picture of a wishing well. THERE IS SOMETHING TO DO WITH A WELL HERE. also, when A sent emily the pic of all the evidence of ali's death, there was a folder titled 'Preserve at Addison-Stevens' and ali's last name. just confirms my suspicion that ali's twin is courtney.

I believe throughout the whole series, they are still in the trance that Ali put them in while in the barn. They are still in the trance that Ali put them in and shes making them scared if they told on Ali for hurting Jenna because she doesn't want to be friends with them anymore or something like that. Overall i still believe they're in that trance..in Ali's barn...how else would we explain all that weird stuff happening in the books that would neverrr happen in real life?? A killer covering his footsteps so well, that even though he has committed alll these crimes and sent alll these texts that could be traced, but no one knows who he/SHE is?

okay, courtney switched places with ali. so ali was in the mental house and courtney was their friend. i think ALI killed courtney. andddd. in this last book it says after the REAL ali hyptnotizes them they wake up and shes gone. and they hear someone trying to talk but their mouth is covered up. (and its coming from the closet.) when hey look in the closet theres ians DEAD body and melissa is under him... so the real ali killed him too. haha. can you guys understand all that? (:

So the show that is on abc family really bugs me. Emily is a different race and brunette, spencer is a brunette and so is melissa when they're supposed to be blondes, hannah is a blonde when she should be a brunette. Then they aren't wearing uniforms, they're older when ali goes missing and hannah didnt seem like she was fat when she was younger.......

The only person on the show that ACTUALLY looked like how it's described in the book is Aria. >.> Emily looks NOTHING like the actor who plays Emily. But anyway I hope Emily gets back together with Isaac! Probably not going to happen but they were a cute couple. :[ I don't like Maya...she doesn't really understand. But Isaac did.

i think that emily is going to give ali devotion even if she shouldnt. the reason because she so badly wants to be in the incrowd that she will risk anything to be in it. Ali has control over everyone and i think that it is sad that popuarlity can control so many people

i am SO mad the characters on the tv show are ALL wrong emily is NOT asian, she is a redhead, hanna has brown hair, not blonde, spencer has blonde hair, not brown. aria is aliright, i guess but i would still like someone else to play her like the girl who is the model on the books.

i just finished "killer". i think officer wilden is strange and has something to do wit the killings and i think Ali is just in the girls thoughts. im with Avery on Emily i think she should be with a girl cuz she went thru all the trouble getting her family to except her sexuality and i think she should be with a girl...shes my favorite character in the books
