Ashley Benson as Hanna

Here are five facts about Ashley Benson—who plays the popularity-obsessed Hanna Marin. Although Hanna in the books is brunette, and Ashley a stunning blond, there are still plenty of similarities between the two.

I think that she will be great... that picture up there has a really evil glint to it that is very HANNAH... I hope that she fills the role as best she can. If there was one thing i would say it would be that maybe she should die her hair.. it would make her character so much more alive!! xoxoxo Emma

I think Hanna is the only one that looks like I pictured her in the book.. She was casted very well for the character of Hanna!!

LMAO @ Justine....i always have to mute the volume...I like Ashley Benson as Hanna. Except for the hair color, i think she does have things in common.

when i read the books, i always pictured hanna as a blonde for some strange reason!! The only casting choice i have a problem with is Spencer!! they really really screwed her up!!>:(

I HATE that she is blonde! I believe when you use something from books you follow and embody the books. NOT just steal names and go whatever way you want.

I agree Heather, she does just not look good for her. She should be Spencer, that would be a rather good simularity. And that glare that everybody thinks is perfect on Hanna, I just think that it is to evil, Hanna can be nice, she just doesnt like when people steal her spotlight. Thats just all wrong.
