A Warning from A

As many of you may know, each hardcover edition of the Pretty Little Liars books includes a hidden message. Take off the book's jacket, and you'll find a short message from A embossed on the front cover.


It just so happens that a copy of Wanted has fallen into our hot little hands, and - as a present to you, loyal readers who are eagerly awaiting Wanted on June 8th - we have some A-quality camera phone pictures of A's latest message. Click "read more" to see it.

i am so excited for this one to come out! i finished heartless about 4 months ago. And i honestly think for some reason that Allison is still alive. Can't wait for wanted to come out! couldn't believe the ending of heartless! love the books! :D

"Be careful what you wish for" do you guys think that that has to do with what the girls wished for? Meaning they wished Ali would dissapear and that's what they got , she's gone... If this is true Ali is dead and the person in the hole was actually Ali. It would be awesome if Ali was alive but I think the only way to end the series would be if Ali was gone. I hope they don't end the series with a sorta clif hanger , you know like "they found the murderer and what happened to Ali. Just as Aria went to look away she saw blond hair out of the corner of her eyes. Ali?" and then it ends , you know something like that , i would be maaaad. Love this series , can't wait for the show and the book...ONLY 7 MORE DAAAAYYYS :)

I am sooo excited for the show! I'm a little worried though, because when a movie comes out after a book, the movie doesn't really copy what happens in the book (besides the storyline). I'm just really hoping that this show won't do that. (:

I don't want the show to copy ALL of the book....it would be boring to watch since you already know what's gonna happen and such. I really don't know when she means "Be careful what you wish for"....maybe who is the killer for Ali or something...

I believe Alison had a mentally ill sister and that's why her brother kept going to the mental hospital every weekend. Then, the mom killed the mentally ill sister and claimed it was Alison to cover the whole thing up. That's why the girls thought they saw her. She would not recognize them after so many years because of how much they have changed and because of the smoke.

Also, the quote means they kept wishing for the truth and now something bigger than they expected is going to be revealed. They all wanted to know who killed Ali and who A is and now their wish is granted but the answers are not what they want or want to know.

Why is the book cover yellow though? That was the color of the first bookAria's doll looks different. You know what else bothers me? They went in this order for the first four books: (The girls on the front) Spencer, Hanna, Aria, then Emily. But on these last four books it goes: (Girls on the book cover) Spencer, Hanna, Emily, then Aria. I don't know, just something I noticed. I'm not angry about it, I was just saying...

omgg these books are ahhmazinngg.honestly i've never read any book&&got hooked on it like these.i can't wait for wanted to come out.im really not excited about the show though bc i think they shoulda used the girls that were on the covers,it only makes sense.&&also it just won't be the same bc i can already tell the show won't follow the books.but oh well i enjoy readin more(:

Oh my gosh I am soooo beyond excited for this book!! I am pretty intrigued to see what the series is like but I'm not happy at all with the cast. I mean I'm sure they're all talented and will do a great job but throughout the books each of the girls' physical description is clearly defined and the girls that they got to play them are waaaay wayyyy off! Aria is the only one that is pretty close. Well Maya and some other minor characters were casted well but it's Emily, Hannah, and Spencer that they did a terrible job with. I hope the show itself is good. I'm so nervous/excited because the books were so good this show NEEDS to do them justice!!

omg i cant wait for monday!!!! idk i think melissa killed ali but i think it involves her mother, ali's and brother. Man the show makes me up set because the characters are not right. and i reall want to seep the actual girls that were on the backs of the hard cover books play the part. i hope its good any one kno how the books will be spred out will it be like one book a season or like two books a season. reply please .!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WANTED!!!!! I CANT WAIT FOR WANTED!!!!! THE OTHER BOOKS WERE SO GOOD!!!!! I GOT THE FIRST 2 BOOKS AT A YARD SALE FOR 2 DOLLLARS EACH!!!! The lady told me she didnt like the books she just didnt think they were good! (CRAZY!!) the minute i started reading the first 2 and went and bought the next 2 the very next day. i really want hope that Ali isnt really dead. i hope it was someone else in that hole. i hope it also doesnt leave a cliff hanger. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!! CANT WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wow!!!!! The books are awsome! I love how on the front cover of the 1st 4 books they gave you a picture of what the girls look like......... but you know what really makes me mad is for the show they dont use the same girls on the cover! LIKE HANNA IS BLOND!! WHAT THE HECK!! HER HAIS IS SUPOSED TO BE POOP BROWN!!!! AND SPENCER HAS DARK BROWN HAIR WHEN ITS SUPPOSED TO BE DIRTY BLOND!!! AND EMILY IS SUPPOSED TO HAVE ORANGEISH BLOND HAIR!!! Aria is like the only one they did good on...... BUT THEY COULD HAVE DONE BETTER!!!!!! But i still cant wait till the TV series! EEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

ok heres my theroy.......i think the girl in the hole is leah and i think that when spencer pushed ali in the 7th grade sleepover she lost her memory and her mom kept her but didnt wat anyone to no because there was to much drama in the town and thats why they moved i think thats also why alis brother said he didnt spend to much time with the family because there to messed up.... but thats just a theroy...is that how u spell theroy???

I think it means they kept wishing that Ali was back and in the last book when they thought they saw her in the fire it shows that she might be back. So i guess it means that it was a dangerous wish, because what if she is back. They definitely didn't like her if she held their secrets over them, so why would they like her now.

I think it definatly means like they wished for Ali to be gone cuz they were sick of her soo she dissappearedthen they wishes she comes back cuz they think shes -A but then they find out -A is mona and they still want Ali to come back. Then when they see the image in the woods they realize they dont want her back cuz they get framed for telling lies when she dissapperas again.

I think it's Jenna,I mean she WAS a long-lost friend that the girls didnt talk to for a reason.Maybe A did something to jenna,Causing jenna to want revenge.Maybe when A went missing jenna had something to do with.She probably killed her.

Guys, It's not like the killer is Jenna, she's blind. The real killer is Mona but she gets arrested... so in the later books, who do you think is the new "A"? Jenna's brother isn't that busy... ~M

SPOILER-- This is obvious. All the girls wished Ali was alive, right? And (spoiler) in Wanted, she is. But, it turns out Ali isn't the girl they knew, and she's more then a little crazy and things turn very nasty very quickly...Be careful what you wish for, Liars! It might just come true...
