How to Be (and stay) an It Girl

Here’s something I learned from Zoey: being an It girl is a choice. No one—not even Angelina Jolie—wakes up one day and magically becomes captivating. Even she has to work at it.

Being charismatic and fun is a lot like being a great athlete. You don’t become a great swimmer or surfer if you don’t put in time in the water. And you don’t become a fascinating person without any effort.

Here’s how to be fabulously fascinating:

  1. Read. A lot. And not just Zoey Dean’s TALENT (wink, wink). Read magazines and books you normally wouldn’t even think of picking up. Dare yourself to learn one new fact from everything.

  2. Go new places. Even if it’s as simple as walking home a different route. Exploring your world will lead to fascinating new experiences.

  3. Talk to new people. Reach out on Facebook to friends you’ve lost touch with. Summer’s also the perfect time to make a friend date with someone you don’t know very well.

  4. Try new things. Learn about yoga on the web and practice some beginner positions. Or pick up a book about scrapbooking at the library and give it a shot. You might discover a new talent!

  5. After you've done all these things, do 'em all over again!
What about you? What makes you fascinating? And who are the most fascinating people you know, the Angelinas and Zoeys in your life? Do tell!

I really like this blog! I think what makes me fascinating is that I'm always into new things.Places and people.I discovered new foods and learned about different cultures just by entering a new neighborhood! I'm funny,down-to-earth and energetic! The Angelinas and Zoeys in my life would definitely have to be my two bffs Ricole and Eberlee. They're awesome and they're the kind of friends you can't lose. They're dependent, fun, crazy, funny and we just always have a great time! I just LOVE Zoey Dean's books! The A-list series is soo juicy! It keeps me turning pages! I always made sure I had the next book by my side so I wouldn't miss anything! I'm pretty sad that there's no more A-List books, but the ending of California Dreaming was breath-taking! And Talent was GREAT! I loved it!!!! And I'm definitely going to recommend this book to all of my friends just like I passed along the A-list series!! Im sure they'll love it too! Thanks for reading! Cristine<3
