Hello, again.

Thanks to those of you who've left comments for me! It's great to hear from people who are reading my second Luxe book, Rumors. You're right, my third Luxe book is entitled Envy. I'm working on it right now, and it should be in stores by January.

Now that we've covered getting glamorous for parties, you've got me thinking about how clothes can be an extension of our personalities and moods. My characters in the Luxe books use clothes to express themselves, the same way I, and lots of other modern girls, do. Penelope favors red when she's ready to spar, while Elizabeth chooses pale shades, petal pinks and ivories, to signal her more temperate reputation.

Now that it's summer and the sun is out, I find that all I want to wear is loose, airy white things and minimal, easy sandals.

What's your fashion temperament today? Are you ready to play, or waiting to do battle? Comments please!

Omg i luve The Luxe series i cant wait till the next one comes out. The day Rumores came out I went 2 Barnes and nobles and bought the book right away! I'll probly do the same for Envy

OMG The Luxe is my favorite book to date and I'm hoping to get Rumors for my B-day (In 18 days :D ). I can't wait until Envy comes out! One of my favorite parts is looking at the dresses the cover models wear. Today I had a bit of a flowy passive thing going, everything was light and fluffy. Tomorrow though I'm gonna go for something a bit more aggressive to match my new haircut :) -Siobhan

I loved the sequel! It was so hard to put down Rumors, I finished reading it in 3 days! Now I have to wait til the next one comes out :( The Luxe series are some of the best books I've read, I hope you'll keep writing!! Janurary is still a long way to go, just wish Envy would come out sooner, but it's still worth waiting for!! :)

i just finished reading Rumors and i can't believe the ending!! It's sad but it just makes you want more and i can't wait till Envy is out! Thanx for writing such addicting books! haha

OMG I loooooved the luxe and I'm working on rumors right now...the books are amazing they seem like real life and real drama. hm i guess I like dark colors like blues and greens and some brights like pinks and oranges and whites...I'm more of a mini skirt type person haha LOVE your books!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I finished reading Rumors today, and it was amazing! I love Penelope, every time I read her name I know something diabolical is about to happen. I can't wait until Envy, I know it's going to be flawless. I love wearing flip-flops in the summer, and anything pink or orange- those colors were made for summer! I'm a little more carefree with my style in the summer, but not to the point that it doesn't look put-together.

both books were wonderful. id gone 2 the book store 4 somethin 2 do and found the books. i read them both in 2 days i couldnt put them down. i cant wait 4 the next book

hello i was just wondering if there is any where the photo shoot images are available to look at. I have benn wondering through both books what the characters might actually look like in real. that would be a great help thanks so much Nicole

I am officially in love with this series. I picked up the first one a little after it came out, and ran to the bookstore to buy Rumors the day it came out! I'm not through it yet, because I had to pause to read a school required book. But I'm back on to reading it and have read 100 pages just today! It was so difficult to put it down, even to eat. Seriously, this series is my favorite series out there. You never stop amazing me with your amazing writing and I cannot wait for Envy!

Wow. All I can say is I am in absolute awe of the world you've created within your books. I've finished both within two days because I simply could not put them down. It is in great anticipation that I wait for Envy, and let me tell you it is not easy. As for my dressing habits, I do in fact switch between the two. However, when I don the 'red dress' it is to combat girls like Penelope, the cleverly created villain that she is. I cannot wait to see how Di figures out her situations. Thank you so much for writing and publishing this series and continuing to write on it.

I absolutely loved The Luxe, and Rumors, and I can't wait for the next book. I can really relate to Diana Holland because she is so much like myself. Thanks for the wonderful work you have done and I hope you continue to write. How many books are supposed to be in this series though?

Hi! I just wanted to say how much I loved The Luxe!!! I began reading Rumors and can't put it down! I was extremely excited when I discovered there would be another book coming out soon. CAN'T WAIT!! I watched the video from Rumors and loved the song featured in it. I've been searching for the name everywhere but can't find it. I'll have to keep looking.

This isnt in line with your question but i think that they shouldmake a movie about your books but make the movies PG13 not that i am to young it is that i dont like movies rated over 14A plz consider!!!!

I loved the luxe, however i did not particularly like the ending of rumors, it tore me apart, and now i regret reading the end. the rest of the book was amazing, and i cant wait for envy (well, i kinda can) and where did you find the newspaper articles from the 1800's?

So I finished Rumors the other day. I'm still mourning the loss. I cried at the end. Hard. The ending was a definite twist from the usual "good triumphs over evil and everyone lives happily ever after" plot. Very tragic, yet incredibly brilliant.

well today it is sunny and so i took my dog for a walk and played out side with him. i was also in a good mood so i wore a tank top that was blue like the sky and wide leged jeans. Because i hate when dog slobber gets on me and when bugs fly around me and touch my leg it is creepy. but when i get ready in the morning if it is sunny out i like to where tank tops in bright colors. Also shorts or a flowy skirt that hits my knees nothin to high.

OMG!! I loved Rumors but i seriously SERIOUSLY started crying when Will died. you have no idea. It was so sad cause they didn't even give them a chance to explain. and it was such a surprise and the part when they're like "i love you" " I love you" was SO ADORABLE AND HEARTBREAKING cause thats when u know he's gonna die. Liz is such a great person cause even when she just lost her true love, she still wants to bring her sister togehter with Henry because she knows about how much she loves him. and i don't know what Liz will do now but she has to fall for someone... right? I worked all day today... at Maggie Moo's ice cream. so yeah my mood was t-shirt/i hate my job. haha I CAN'T WAIT FOR ENVY! I can't wait all the way til January!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :( and then is there gonna be a fourth one? I think i heard there was... what's it called>

I LOVE the Luxe Books! I can't get enough. But the end of Rumors had me bawling. Anna why couldn't you have had him wounded and left us on the edge of our seats wondering if he was going to make it through? It was very upsetting and now I wonder what could possibly happen in Envy with everything so messed up. Thanks again for creating such an addicting series of books!

I loved Rumors so much I read it in a day! It was so sad at the ending, I even had a few drops in my eyes. I can not wait for Envy to come out. But it is worht the wait. I love the books it really is my favorite series and I LOVE the covers! My sytle today is dress nice in a dress but still laid back, actually that is everyday. :)

wow. i bought the luxe about five days ago and fell in love. Then, yesterday, i bought rumors and finished it in one night because i just couldn't bear to put it down! i love them both and can't wait for envy, though rumors did make me cry a lot for will. i also love that the two holland sisters and i share names! [diana elizabeth] though i share more of a similar personality and appearance with diana (my sister is a lot like elizabeth) my clothing preference is sort of simple hues of recent, consisting of ivories and blues, but i'm leaving for the beach soon, and looking forward to wearing sun dresses with a splash of color!

Wow. i can not begin to explain what a joy reading your books brings me. I loved both of the books and I can't wait for Envy! I love how your books take place in the past and show how catty drama happened even back then. I also feel like I have traits in most of the characters and I feel for all of them. I'm not like Peneolpe but I want to be more confidente like her and I'm like Liz in the way that I try to follow the rules on the outside in publics view. I am like Diana because I love to read. I have been in a above the knee dress/ flipflops mood at this time.

I heart The Luxe and i hearted Rumors even more! It was so good that I couldn't put Rumors down, and I can't stop thinking 'bout Envy! Waiting for January is like waiting for the end of the school year! So long, but so awesome! Oh, and I wear a lot of white for a suble and fun kind of aphnosphere, even doe I don't look that good in it, but I wear just as much navy for a dark, secretive look to go with my asian looks. I'm thinking 'bout getting some red clothes for high school for a more aggresive, cute look. :D

i honestly have to say that i hate the way the story, rumors, ended. however, when a book is good...it's good. i've always held on to the philosophy that if a book is strong enough to make you feel the distress(i cried naturally) then it's a great book. i just didn't like how it turned out. i didn't like it when diana stole henry from elizabeth and yet i didn't like it when will died. there's no pleasing me. these are intoxicating books and i'm looking forward to the next one. i also like the idea of elizabeth being pregnant with will's child and i think she should marry teddy cutting. he'll just say it was his child. i don't like the idea of her continuing without will but this match would make me feel better. i hope everything comes back to bite the ungrateful lina in the butt :P maybe there's a chance will's still alive??? (wishful thinking i know, i know)

I love the covers, they are simply gorgeous and as much part of the book itself. I'm speculating the 3rd book will have diana on the cover, and with a green dress? You know, green with envy? Haha, I'm so stupid. Rumours' ending disappointed me a bit, because everything happened so quickly.

The Luxe was a great book. I couldn't put it down I read it in just 2 days. I didn't think i would because it was so thick but it was just so captivating. I cannot wait to read Rumors, also I can't wait for Envy to come out after I read Rumors

I really loved your book and i am going to get the second fro christmas but i will ahev to wait a month, which will be hard as i cant wait but it will make it better when i get to read it. I absolutely loved The Luxe! I am almost done with Rumors and cannot wait for Envy. My favorite point of view is Will and Elizabeth! Whenever I see its them I get so excited! I am very much smitten with Will. I wish Diana and Henry would just get together publically and not worry about manners.

OMG! You are like my favorite author ever!!! I loved Diana and Penelope's point of view. I also loved the covers! I liked the Luxe's cover the best. I also like the preview to the Luxe, you know the one. Pretty girls in pretty dresses..... I read that preview like a million times!

I have read tons of books and this seris is my favorite. I saw the cover for Envy for the first time today and i have to say that i was a little disappointed that the dress wasn't an amazing shade of green. Envy always makes me think of green i guess. the book is still going to be amazingggggg though no matter what.

well, I just wanted to say that I have read an abundant amount of books but two of my favorite couples are Diana and Henry and Will and Lina. I know that the Will and Lina couple may not be what everyone wants, but my friends and I all love these two couples. I really hope that they end up together. You are an amazing writer. Im only 15 and Ive read over a thousand books. I truly love this series it is one of my favorites!!! Pleas give Will and Lina the chance to end up together. Bring Will back somehow. Pleaseeee.
