Hello lovelies,

I am so excited because just yesterday I got my first finished copy of Splendor. It looks beautiful, and the dress on the cover is just iridescent and heaping and flowing, and the girl is mysterious and gorgeous. This is always a really satisfying moment for a writer, not just because you get to see your words in pretty font, and bound with a cover and all that, but also because it is proof that all this time you have spent alone in your pajamas in your bedroom alone has been for something. It has produced a collection of words that people can read, and understand, and here it is, this physical object to prove it! Phew.


And that bit about people reading and understanding is so crucial, because really what's the point of spending all that time alone in your bedroom, if not to produce something that people love or hate, or are annoyed or moved by-- something? So thank you, thank you, all of YOU. You make it real.

Ah, I am the first one to post! Excitement at the fact that I shall be at the top is coursing through me at this moment. Unless someone is posting as we speak, then disregard the previous comment. I am simply ecstatic for Splendor to come out! I have been crossing out the days on my calander. Little x's in each square. Sometimes I write a little DH + HS, sometimes I don't. Today I most definitely will. I once dreamed of being an author. I had written a book about a witch princess of some sort and I was at a signing. It was amazing! If that ever happened, I wouldn't complain. I am excited to see the final product.

Anna,over the summer I have read your books and I'm just dumbfounded on the characters,I mean for me being able to read a book, the characters has to come alive and i believe that's what makes a book interesting.It made me feel like I was in the book and I've took the test and it said I was Elizabeth and I was sooo happy when I had my result.It's so amazing how anyone can do with just a pen and paper infront of them.I've been inspired by many authors and encourging me to write my stories and today Anna I thank you for that.I cannot wait for Splendor.

omg, i can't wait! it comes out two days before my birthday anyways, so thats an early birthday present to myself. I just love your books, I bet you get praised so much for it because they're just amazing. The characters are so relatable even though the events that take place happen in a different era. So thanks for producing such a refreshing and amazing series. <3 yours truly michelle

Anna, thankyou for making such a wounderful series and I have been In love with them ever since I read the part where Henry and Diana meet <3 I hope tha your next books will be just as great cause I know that it must be very hard to start at the beginning with new characters and new personalities- new location and a new outline- especially since the Luxe characters feel so real and their personalities are so clear now and alive! But again, thanks so much for a wounderful series and for making it a pleasure reading every single page of The Luxe, Rumors, Envy, and to come, the grand finale-Spleandor!!!

In each book there is such chemistry between the characters, but just like in real life it doesnt always work out. The characters seem so real that I can relate to them. Luv ya, Bri!

Sweet. I've been counting the days since I've finished reading Envy! Oooo, just can't wait till I have it in my hands. I probably going to miss two days of school cuz I'll be reading it under the desk! I pre-ordered it so I hope it comes the day it's out.

Guys, Splendor is coming out soon, and it's only $9.71 (yes, $9.71) on Amazon; I checked!! So pre-order, because I think that's pretty cheap!

I agree with you, Mary. I always have to read alone because I tend to let my frustration show... I like that the characters make mistakes. It gives them a more realistic quality.

I love the excitement about this book it's like the others were just a build up to the final scene! I remember that when the luxe came out the first day I was at the opening by chance and I picked it up and adored it, I love to think of myself as being there from the beginning!

omg exactly a week guys!!! do you know what this means!?!? only one week until henry and dianna are finally together (i hope) and penelope gets what she deserves (i really hope!) and elizabeth somehow ends up with teddy (insanly hopes!!) i have a scheme and everything on how i'm giogn to get to an ATM and the the bookstore and - aghh!! I'M SO EXCITED AND ONLY 7 DAYS!!

I'm so excited, every time I think about Splendor coming out I'm totally jumping up and down or I just squeal for the pleasure. I CAN'T WAIT for the book to come out! You are an AMAZING author and I LOVE THE SERIES I'm so pathetically addicted to it!! <3 I've been continuously reading "sneak peeks" on amazon and it KILLS me that I won't be able to read it on time when it comes out since I'm from Hong Kong! But I so so so so want to read it and of course like everyone else I'm waiting for DH and HS to be together!! To be honest I've already been doodling "DS" in all my textbooks Di and Henry HAVE to end up together!

first i cant wait for your book to come out(soooooo excitied!!!) but if i had to relate to a character i guess it would be almost all of them! Diana because lik to read of faraway places and be VARY flirtous. penolpe cause i will do almost anything to get what i want. elizabeth because i can be vary shy and polite. henry cause i like to play the feild. will cause i can be sweet and romantic. teddy when i hav a crush i fall hard also i dont giv up:)

OMG!!!!!!!!! I recently started reading this series and i am so hooked i just finished Envy last night and it only took me one day to read!!! I am soooo ready to read Splendor i just have to find it. i have to admit i was a little upset that Elizabeth and Teddy didnt hook up. Teddy sounds so sweet and the image i get of him with those eyes soooo hot!!! Yay shes having Wills baby!!!!!!!!!! Anna kudos! (yes i clapped for you and even a little scream) This series got in my head and made me think about life, love, and even about my own friends. I hope Penelope finds something great. Again I love this series!!!

OMG!!! i love your book's!!!! i've just got done reading Luxe. Im waiteing for the town libary to send me 2nd book and the 3rd book. I caint wait until im able to go back to Books-a-million and get the 4th. All of my friends at school say im just like Elizabeth and they also say im a bit like Diana. Other than that i love your books!!!
