What in the world is this? They don't look like 16 year old girls! One is married already? I feel sorry for all of the teenage girls who auditioned. Looks to me as if this whole thing was a scam to get more people to buy the books. This webseries is going to be very interesting...

WOW, you need to lighten up! If you had won, you wouldn't be commenting. They don't select actresses based on age. It's based on the audition and the look they are after! Luvva definately was a great choice. I have to admit I didn't view the other 2 winners because they were low on the votes. However, now that I viewed them, I can see why they wee chosen.

One girl had the script in her hand. I didn't even audition, but I do know that there were alot better auditions. The girls chosen weren't the worst, but they definitely weren't the best either.

i'll try to keep my cool about this whole thing, but why is it that on many other casting info sites, they had that the age was 18 for auditioning? so unfair for the teens... i agree with that other girl, they just wanted us to start buying the books. oh well, at least its over.

I don't think that this whole contest was just "to get you to buy the books"! The assumption was that you were already a fan and had read the books or knew something about the story and the characters. They did not ask anyone to go out and buy the books and they did not ask anyone to pay a fee to enter the contest. So anyone complaining about the winners is just a sore looooser!

Well in this case they weren't looking for someone 16 years old, they were looking for 3 girls that looked the part. As far as if the webseries will be amazing, I am sure if you were cast you would say YES!

Wow they are all good and defiantly could play Kiran! I think that a possible reason of why the judges picked them was because they aren't minors, so it will be easier for them to make the show because they don't have to deal with child labor laws. But either way, they could all pull off a 16 year old model(: Congrats girls!

I think the two girls on thee left and right are good. i dont mean to sound bad or anything but they are really pretty and Kiran is a model so... Im a little confused though...is this series gonna be like where it only is showed on the web or is it on tv too like gossip girl?? and PLEASE POST FIRST CHAPTER OF SUSPICION! i can not wait toread the book! like easton might be shut down..reed is somewhere in the ocean..and JOSH omg obviously josh still loves reed they are meant to be together and Ivy is meant to be with gage he obviously loves her because he was really upset when she was hurt and wore outerwear for the first time. and ivy doesnt deserve josh! i hatee herrr! again PLEASE POST FIRST CHAPTER!! Thanks Kate! Although I wasn't chosen as the top three girls, I am so grateful you mentioned us fifteen fan favorites! I have grown so much from this experience and I am determined now to follow my dreams as an actress, when before the competition, I pushed them aside due to fear and rejection. I can't wait for the web series, and I am so excited for the next private novel!

Janine had the best auditon. I don't think you can really tell who is the most pretty or "model like" by their head shots. Nicole, looks nothing like she did in her video. Head shots can be touched up. I think they are all really pretty.

Hey those girls didn't do that good of a job!!! I auditoned and I saw many other girls who did an amazing job. One girl looked at the script and the ohter two messed up a little. I saw girls who were thirteen and didn't do that!! You just picked them becuse their older and beautiful!!! So many girls needed and wanted an opportunity like this and you give it to OLDER girls who didn't even did their best. If you didn't want teen girls to audition why didn't you say so. Because many other girls did a wayyyyyy better job then them!!! this is nothing but a scam to get young girls hopes up!!! What you guys did was totally unfair and how are twenty something year olds are going to portray a sixteen year old!!! I'm not watching the webseries. Because you guys are totally unfair. And you better not sell my e-mail address either!!!!!!!!

Wow... Can't you girls be happy for someone else? Why does their age matter so much? Check out any of the teen shows on TV right now and you'll find that the actors are ALL in their 20's!

The rest of the cast is probably older too so these girls have to be able to look like they fit in with them.

all the girls are gorgeous, and so what that they're older. i don't care, diana ross was thrity when she played dorothy in the Oz and the orginal dorothy was in her teens. i'm sure that they will pick the right girl and everything will be great. what i'm really excited for is the rest of the cast.

The girl in the middle had the very best audition. She is also very pretty. She is definately a billing girl. She was one of the few I thought looked and acted the part. Who knows what the casting agents wanted! Good luck to all 3!. You are all winners!

Omg you guys thinking they look too old are really just dumb. Have you watched any TV shows about kids in highschool. Almost all are played by 20 year-olds. It's not natural to have actual highschoolers playing highschoolers on tv anymore. Accept it and move on. Secondly these three auditions were amazing AND the girls really look the part which is really important. All three would be great at playing Kiran, though the middle one and the one on the far right are my favorites.

Honestly, i pictured Kiran looking much older then the typical sixteen year old so it makes sense to cast older, beautiful girls. Like everyone mentioned above, almost ALL of teen tv shows have actors who are wayyyy out of their teens. The only one i can think of who isn't is Taylor Momsen from GG. As for the winners, I'd say Janine had the best audition but she doesn't really look like how i pictured Kiran. Nicole looks most like Kiran but besides that i don't really see it. And of course Sanna is gorgeous and act pretty well. It will be a run for my money on who wins. Good luck girls!

congrats everyone! :) no matter what happens i still can't WAIT to see the webseries! :) i wonder who the cast is. I can't WAIT for that. Even though, on the cast list, i wonder why Blake Pearson is a member (he's only in the 3rd book, right?). & i hope they have like Natasha, Cheyenne, The Twin Cities (they are hilarious!), Missy, etc. So many Billings Girls..lol. still can't wait for everything..lol. -Kelly

I think the best out of the 3 was the girl in the middle all the way. The other two I really didn't care for, they just didn't suit the part to me!But hey! I'm not a judge, so if they think they can pull it off they better me right! About age, yeah, it think it's kind of unfair that they chose older girls, but oh well. It's a lot easier to make an older girl to look younger and more model material than a younger girl. The girl on the left hand side...well she sounds..older. Like honestly, she may be pretty and all, but I can't see her as a 16 year old. The one on the right had to look at the paper and you could totally see it. I can't really see her as her either though. I'm not saying they didn't deserver the spot. Like seriously, they were all great actors, just they didn't suit the part that well. Good luck to you all! Oh and Kate, could you PLEASE post the first chapters for you next two books! Please! Please! I’m begging you. LOL. I seriously can not wait!

There's a certain air about the one the middle that says, "Kiran is here". Her audition voice has exactly the type of tone (?) I imagined Kiran would have. They're all cool, but she's my fave.

i think they look kiran worthy and kate has nothing to do with this anyways it all the producers so don't blame her. and i gotta say im so so glad they didn't pick like a 13 or 14 year old because i don't picture the characters looking young i mean can you imagine noelle as a 13 year old come on. everyone must stop with the jealousy it should;t become you accept it and move on. and i hope gage coolidge, natasha crenshaw, leanne shore, etc,etc are going to be in the webseries. anyways cant wait love you kate<33

okie y'all need to chill. you probably don't understand how hard kate worked to get a web show yet alone let people audition. she wants to see her fans, and i think the "judges" picked good people. you have to remember kate probably didn't even have a say an dthat she tried her hardest and she's doing a great job. be happy that we at least get to see private become a reality. reading some of these comments that people leave make you wonder if people are even realizing how hard these girls worked and deserve it. personaly, i like nicole. but everyone has different opinions. just saying that you have to remember how hard it is to make things like this happen these days. and for the people who want her to post the first chapter of Suspicion, you can wish but you can't really post it for another couple months (unfortuntly). kate keep up the great work and never stop :) with love, andy

the middle one DOES NOT LOOK LIKE KIRAN! she doesnt look like anybody in the seriess! the one on the left is what looks the closest so what if she looked at her script like one time. maybe she only had a little time to memorize it..? but if the middle wins im gonna be so upset shes kinda pretty but seriously kiran? shes supposed to be the prettiest where guys are all drooling over her and the middle girl is not very pretty

OK SERIOUSLY .........I'M NOT HATING OR WHAT EVER because I didnt even tryout, my friend did BUT SERIOUSLY......!!! 1.I watch Gossip Girl and 90210 and I'm and actress so I know older people always play young parts but it's because they can act the only one who did a good job was Janine and even she kept doing weird stuff w/her mouth.And the last girl Nicole kept saying chick and changed the entire script bascially!but what ever I just really got mad when my friend showed me who won.she wasnt the best sorry katie! but neither were they other people were deff better

The girl in the middle, janine is very pretty, look at her profile and audition. The girl to her right looks nothing like her audition.Looking at all 3 auditions, I still think the girl in the middle did the best. Everyone has their opinion. I agree with the comment above! There are a lot of sore losers! If you or your friend had won then you would be the one up in front for everyone to criticize. And let me tell you, no matter how good of a job any of one of you had done there would still be people saying something negative. So please, before any of you say anything else just think about how it would feel is someone said that about you.

It's strange. I thought that it was funny how the alternates are WAY YOUNG and the winners are WAY OLD. I was definitly expecting something in the middle. Congrats to the winners! I really don't know what the judges were looking for... when I saw the winners I didn't see the spark that the alternates had. Melanies eyes were more emotional, Vee was definitly bubbly, and Alaina was flat out amazing. I'm a little confused but I think it'll be great :)

I have a feeling that the majority of the negative comments are coming from just 1 or 2 of the little girls that didn't win the contest. The winners aren't "old". The judges just found that they were what they were looking for. Good luck ladies.

Wow, I dont see why everyone is making such a big deal. I personally LOVED the girl in the middle, and you know, if everyone is so obbsessed with their looks, THEY HAVE PRO MAKEUP PEOPLE! honestly, none of those girls fit kiran & we all know it. shes supposed to be green eyed, dark skinned & light brown hair.and even the other casts members, since when is noelle blonde? ! and taylor dark skinned & hair.i am very very dissapointed, & i probably won't watch them because i will just get angry. but i must admit thomas & reed are perfect :) oh and don't even get me started on josh. i couldn't wait until you guys found a CURLY BLONDE haired cutie, and u didn't. okay, to be honest, i think that these girls are NOT kirans. and i think noelle was sooo wrong!!! SHE CAN NOT BE BLONDE! that ruin's her. i think her being a burnette tells everyone that blondes aren't the only ones who can be so sinister and sneaky, and lead ppl. and her dark hair made her more sinister, and i think she is good like that! her being blonde is horribale! i think that we can ALL agree, that Meagan Fox, is the BEST Noelle:)and i think taylor swift is a REALLY good taylor herself:) but can she act? i have no idea:)lol:P but i always pictured it like that, and Reed is SPECTACULAR, and i think that Ariana's hair is to short! its supposed to be long! she cuts it only when she's at the Brenda.T. so i think that girl needs extentions:)<3 and by the way kate, I LOVED VIRGINITY CLUB:) it was AMAZING. and it was amazing, and only in one book! i think your an amazing writter, you inspired me to write, and now i do:)<3
