YAYAYAYAY!! I cannot wait for Scandal, the first chapter was (no surprise here) AH-MAZINGGGGG!! I think somehow Reed's going to raise money to build a new Billings, somehow getting everyone to see that without Billings, Easton is just a another old private school. u should read them andi, theyre about a girl who goes to a private schools and meet a groups of elite gorgeous girls called the Billings girls. Theyre the best books ever written so u really shud read them : )

I agree! kk think about it people. So far this series has been all about reed getting into billings, being in billings, and then trying to get back into bilings. If there's still atleast like four books left, than I doubt thats it. So either reed finds a way to get billings back, or kate introduces a totally knew motivation for reed. So either way, the plot will probably have a drastic change...maybe.

okay, this literally made my day! i cant believe that noelle is giving up! i thought for sure she would have a plan! but i think that reed is gonna get billings back and everyones gonna start treating her like the new noelle. then noelle will probably start getting annoyed by that but i dont really know. i wish sawyer and josh were in the first chapter though! :( but it was still so so good! ahhh i cant wait for march 9th! it seems soooo far away! thank you kate!

Hmm I think Noelle knows something that Reed doesn't. Maybe something her Dad knew too, that made him decide it was for the best to tear it down. And whatever it is, its a good enough reason that both Noelle and her Dad know the only option is to just move on :(

OMG! FINALLY! I love this series! :) Does anyone agree wit me that as much as you dislike Ariana from her stunt with Reed with the privilege you kind of forget how crazy she is because of Kaitlin/ lily. Becca - I disagree. I think the models from books 1-4 look so much more Billings. More preppy. More classy. More sophisicated. More...just more better. They're actually how I picture Noelle, Ariana, Kiran, Reed, and Taylor. (Actually, even though the girl on the back of PRIVATE is supposed to be K, I picture her as R.) Then I picture A as the one from Privelege/Last Xmas.

ok first off I think chapter one was ok, it was a good start but i was a little sad Sawyer or even Josh was in it. I think Noelle has a plan to bring back a 'new' Billings and isn't telling anyone. I also think that Reed and Ivy will team up and try to help bring back a new dorm for them. As for Josh, I don't see Reed and him getting back together, ever again. I think Sawyer is good for her. Time to get Josh out of the pic!

Yay, now I am even more excited for Scandal to come out! I predict, like most people already said, that Reed will find a way to bring back billings. I can't wait for Reed and Sawyer moments, as much as i love Reed and Josh together, i think Sawyer will be a great change for Reed. He seems so sweet =] As for Upton...i don't really know how i feel about him. Need to find out more before i can really judge him, the last books mostly only gives you the perspectives of the others, and what they think of him. It doesn't really matter what guy Reed ends up with, as long as she's happy, i will be =] Can't wait for March 9!

Woo! The first chapter's finally here. :) hmm in my point of view, reed will definitely find a way to bring billings back while noelle might or might not have given up on that. Maybe she has something in mind. I would really love josh and reed to be back together but that seems a bit unrealistic. On the other hand, reed and sawyer are better off as friends or siblings so I don't know. Who knows someone else might get into the picture, say graham? Hahaha I wouldn't like that though.

@michelle It girl series is wicked good! though my absoulte favorite (aside from private) is Vampire Academy, ik ik just another vampire book but it is soooooo different from anyother vampire books it like private takes placeat a boarding school and it has drama and mystery just like private only the characters drink blood hahahaha try it you wont be sorry

But you don't need to be "foul" about Kate's chapter. I get everyone has the right to their own opinion. I just think you could have said your opinion in better terms. Instead of "WOW, THIS FIRST CHAPTER SUCKED," you could have said something along the lines of "It could have been better. I thought it was going to be amazing but it was a little disappointing." I know for sure that Reed is going to try and get another Billings House. I just know because that is what Reed does. Well I was just wondering because last night I read an essay this kid wrote on it. I had tears streaming down my face I was laughing so herd. I could only find three pages, but I think there is four. My sister found the rest on Facebook. It has its own GROUP! I don't have a facebook though so I wouldn't be able to get onto iit. If you want I will try and find it for you online. As always Kate the chapter was amazing, but then again what's new? I really hope that Reed proves the almighty Noelle wrong for once and brings Billing's back! I mean, what's Easton with out Billing's? Oh, and of course there is an amazingly cute curly blonde boy that I hope has some appearances in this book, and the ones that follow it... Sorry! ROSH!!! i'm kind of mad at Josh. i've just never liked Ivy. I know i should because none of this is her fault. But she just creeps me out and Josh is just with her out of pity. I think the reason the got together was that they had a common hatred for Billings. Ivy hated it for what they made her do to her grandma and Josh hated it for "what it turned Reed into"

Oh dang. My friend recomended this site to me this morning, Because I've recently been obssessed with them(im talking reading all nine in two days) but she'd mentioned that there was some drama going around. Now I know what she means by drama. woow, ahaha. Who said that it had more drama than gossip girl? julie h? oh god, thats a good one. Anyway, I'm ignoring it. So im like pushing towards team Sawyer, or 'rawyer' -lol, but I feel that him and reed havent had enough moments to be sure about it. But so far, I'm really liking him.

Josh is the blond-curled, blue-eyed roommate and best friend of Thomas Pearson. Although Reed's contact with Josh is minimal in the first book, at the beginning of Invitation Only Josh appears to be grim upon seeing Reed with Walt Whittaker, and by the end of the book his attraction to Reed is confirmed. He becomes Reed's boyfriend in Untouchable, when at the same time, the Billings Girls try to convince Reed that Josh is the guilty party in Thomas' murder.

Yep! I noticed that too.kiki's last name. In the....5th book it changes. Well back and forth. Eh. In last Xmas his eyes WERE blue, and in PRIVATE his eyes were brown.

@Tyra Ann hahaha the books were available at the main local bookstore but sometimes they were out of stock so I had to go around looking for them. It's not easy since I only get those that are perfect, doesn't have dogs ears and stuff like that! Haha. One book costs from rm 29.90-rm 32.90 here at the main local bookstore and I've waited for the sales to come but unfortunately private novels aren't usually on sale. They must be pretty popular even though I haven't found many friends who are private fans.

What do you all think the scenes with josh will be about? In my opinion, it's unlikely that josh will dump ivy for reed, but if you look at it this way, why would he be in this book a lot if they're not together? Haha. It's impossible that he keeps getting mentioned because he's jealous. Or maybe he could, and they finally get back together. ;)
