The long distance relationship Reed has with Upton wasn't exactly a good idea, considering they only knew each other for 2 weeks. I mean, it's sweet that they want to be commited to each other, but what if Reed or Upton can't handle it? Upton might go back to his "player" ways and Reed will be all alone in Easton. I think she should focus on her problems with Upton first, you know, get everything sorting out. If you have to constantly think if your boyfriend is cheating on you while your trying to fix Billings and hide your feelings for your ex, it's a little too much to handle. But knowing what Reed's been through in the past, she will definetly make it work. ;)

thinking Upton is an issue is kinda stupid. Its not like they are going to marry or something or he is going to wait for her, so she can have her fun when he is not around. I think they both know they can hook up with each other and both are available.

What is all this about "The Book of Spells"? I haven't heard anything about this new prequel. I thought "Last Christmas" was the prequel?

@Ashley The Book of Spells is a prequel as is Last Christmas but The Book of Spells is about the origins of Billings. i hope this helps a little :)

did you even see Dash? I almost threw my laptop across the room right there and then absolutely NO ONE can act on that show. It was so sad and nobody looked like they were suppose to its like the producers didnt even take the time to read the books. the show was like half assed

Exactly!!!!lol i dont really remember dash. which shows how forgettable they made him. but josh seriously... isnt he known for curly wavy hair, his hair was pin straight. and the way thomas talked was sooo annoying!!! i would start laughing everytime he spoke cause it was so ridiculous. they could have done soooo much better. yeah the producers obviously didnt pay attention. i am just shocked that kate would let them ruin it.

I want her to deal with Josh and Ivy, then Billings, then Upton, and then Sawyer. Nothing against Sawyer, I just don't think there's anything to deal with :P but she definitely has a lot on her plate. Hope Josh realizes how wrong Ivy is for him, and poor poor Gage.... Only like five more days! AHHHH!

I know and we didnt even get to see the other main characters like Natasha, Leanne, Gage, the other billings girls. It was just horrible and I can't even watch it anymore without bursting out laughing. I was incredibly disappointed though

i really hope josh and reed dnt get back together... i want her to be with sawyer or upton and i want billings back i mean not to be mean but josh was a comp jerk when he got drugged and reed caught him wit cheyenne she took him back when reed gets drugged and caught with dash he wnt?? really its lk the same situation! but reed's situation is soo much worse cause she almost gets killed on several occations he doesnt deserve her and plus ivy will prob go back to hating reed again who wouldn't sawyer is the sweet one and i do like upton he is like thomas in a way he is a player hott and comes with trouble and has a certain charm i think josh and reed should just get over eachother

I am a huge fan of Josh and the fact that he never called her over break legit killed me. I think the whole situation needs to be taken care of because you can tell they both really like each other. And although I'm a fan of Josh.. I think Sawyers just as perfect for her as well... It's so confusing but I love this series!

I didnt either, cuz i pretty much hated her after what she did to Thomas and Reed. But its weird, i dont really know how to explain it. While reading the books you start to feel for Ariana and you start to understand her. I know that may seem impossible and I thought so too, but Kates an amazing writer and she makes it possible. You should really give the series a try, you deffinetly wont regret it, and its not like theres anything to lose :)

@nicole, I was really disappointed in the webseries. Sure, I would have chosen some better actors for some of them, but what really made me mad was that 5 percent of the characters that are in the books are there, and there wasn't any relationship with Josh, and there was none of the other drama that happened, like with wittaker or natasha. And the shows were only like 5 minutes :( I wish they would mae it a real show. EEEK Scandal is almost here!!! So excited. And please people, as much as spome spoilers make me happy, if you're going to put them, don't be them in all caps, cause that just attracts attention to them. Thnxx

you guys should go on bn.com(barnesandnoble) and search scandal by kate brian and their will be this thing on the right side that says PICK ME UP and you enter in your zip code and it'll tell you if its in stock or not and if it is it'll say IN STOCK and pick me up under it click pick me up put in your info and it'll send you an e-mail saying dfjdsgkjds this books available come pick it up and then voila. thats what im doing its available for me :D!!

Okay so reed gets a BOOK and it's all about a secret society and she is the leader. Noelle is all against it but ivy loves it so she and reed are pals for it. Reed broke up with upton and loves Josh. She thinks ivy is cheating on Josh but keeps her distance. Josh and graham fight over grahame sister Jen who Josh dated. Then there are tasks and constance Missy and London don't make it into the society. Then Josh kisses reed and breaks up with ivy and Josh and reed get back together. Ivy forgives reed and during a meeting there are loud noises and the lights go out and Noelle disappears. Reed gets a text saying if she says anything to anyone Noelle dies. The end

I strongly feel that reed should first dump upton. i for one haveno desire to see anymore of him. but i don't know what she should do about josh and sawyer. i really like josh but if reed uses sawyer to get josh or just doesn't give sawyer a chance at all that wouldn't be fair to sawyer. but if reed goes with sawyer i'll miss josh! i'm torn!

Just finnished Scandal and I have to say it was better than I thought. I was starting to fall out of love with this series because everytime something good happened to Reed a trail of bad events followed. I'm glad shes finally back w/Josh though cauz Sawyer was boring. I felt bad for Ivy but she and Josh weren't right for each other. I loved how Noelle didn't have all the power in this book for a change but I hope she gets rescued in Vanished.

blah I'm mad! All of you already got your books! I pre-ordered mine forever ago from Barnes and Noble (which usually gets the books a week early) and they just mailed it Friday. Sorry ya'll, just a little frustrated. But those of you that already have the book, where did you order it from? And I don't really know what I want Reed to deal with first....I want her and Josh to end up together but I think she should fix Billings right away also. Actually, scratch that. First things first, she should DUMP UPTON. And for you people with spoilers...just stop. Sure you say all that spoiler alert stuff but the whole spoiler is in plain view, so when you scroll down to get past it, you accidentally end up reading some.

i really enjoyed Scandal. wish all the good characters like Amberly, Astrid had more lines. Sawyer was awsome (not boring at all) i really hope he has a more important part in Vanished. maybe he finds a important secret or turns out to be the mystery person who sent Reed the book. i'm so glad that Ivy has more of a story line. she has allways been a favorite character for me. i'm sadly starting to dislike reed. i really agree with what missy said

reed and sawyer kiss but it doesn't mean anything. i always though of them as friends anyway. i hope if the plot changes into a murder mystery again, sawyer is the savoir again. i had a really good comment earlier, but it was too long. :( it was really cool that Graham, jen are twins. it would be cool if Jen had dated Thomas and Dash as well. Hey Lin. So josh was in detention all day because of his fight with graham. He came to reeds room at like 3 am i think and reed asked why he was there. he told her about his detention and stuff and then he said that he would never love ivy the way he loved reed and that he tried to love her but that she wasnt reed :)then they kissed alot.

@Cecelia Kate Brian's real name is Kieran Scott. When she started the PRIVATE series, she didn't want her family to know that we was writing books that involved mature topics, so she went by a different name... But she does write books under her real name, though. (;

Its called new england weather thats just how they refer it to look it up if you dont believe me and cause authors can have multiple fake names to write different type of genres or just different books or just cause they feel like it her names Kieran Scott though. yeaaaa.. so has anyone read privlige? if u hav is it good??? cuz i need a new book to read since i hav to wait til AUGUST for vanished to come out! or hav any of u read any of kate brians other books? if u hav any rec. please tell me! :):)

I never really cared for Ariana, but Privilege is AMAZING....it's so complex, sick, and twisted, it's even more addictive than Private believe it or not....I haven't read Scandal yet or the last two books in Privilege, but I think it would be really cool to see these two series merge some more with the characters (bring Ariana back somehow...) Also the Web series is HORRIBLE...I'm watching it b/c I have to, but the characters aren't what I expected...it's too short. They need to make a TV show or a movie! PLEASE!

Sawyer first!!!!!! Love that dude and he should end up Reed. I wouldn't mind Reed and Josh but my first preference is Sawyer.

josh&reed forever. every time they are together my heart skips a beat love love em'! I loved when Josh was all jealous of Sawyer and was like Reed please tell me you and Sawyer arn't... one of my favoirte lines in the entire series! Your the best author ever and never stop writing! and hope there is more gage in the next book he is so hot he is so funny! and josh <333 and please noelle can't die :( love your books!!!!
