bianca - there isn't really theme about these books. they're not literature, you know? however, themes COULD be sexuality, loyalty, friendship, reality speaks.

OMG KATE!!! Thank you so so much! Honestly, this is awesome! I’m watching the casting calls and they are amazing! I still think Nicole should have won…but hey, Sanna is doing a great job in the two episodes I watched. Oh, why are there only two episodes, and then all the casting calls…Not to sound ungrateful or anything, but I really would have liked to watched the real episodes before the casting calls… The cast is amazing by the way! I love Reed, Noelle, and Arianna the most! They do such a great job! The rest are good, but you know, I just love those three. Thomas is incredibly hot by the way! And Josh is cute! Billings looks awesome, though I don’t care for the outside…But the inside is perfect! I would be one of those suckers who would do anything to get in there! The uniforms are cute! Though, really, what’s with those red leggings that they wear…creepy.

omg!! so i read ex-mas and it is one amazing book! it definitely kept me reading because you have to find out what happens! its so crazy and it is in some ways very realistic and that is really sad how traumatized and pulled into the "popular" group some people can get in high school years. everyone should for sure read that book! it is sooo great and will keep you on your toes! i read it in one day it was so good! i hope everyone that reads it enjoys it! i know i did. :]

The Private Series is ahhmazzing and I cannot wait for Scandal to come out (p.s. if you get any info on ARC's please let us-or me- know if there is a contest or first ask first serve kind of thing). So if you are reading this can you please tell me why you aren't writing a sequel to Megan Meade's Guide? i agree with emily and steffie, on every book ive read there's beena picture of the author and a little bit about them and on melissa de la cruz's website she has a little auto biography, bt none of us have ever seen you or heard anything about you. we only know you exist because you blog. can we get a little somethin on you plz. you're still the best author but if we knew more about you we'd all probably find reasons to love you even more. keep up the good work! still love you <3

Thanks for getting this in Canada Kate it is awesome I am a little disappointed at how short the episodes are and that the first episode isn't like the first book but i do love it. Also where is Constance will she make an appearance in a episode? I have only seen 2 of them but am looking forward to more. I would also love to see Private and Privilege made into actual t.v series.

Ever since reading your books (and also with the encouragement of my mother who likes to write as well), I've been dabbling a bit in the writing world, and have even considered minoring it in college. this sucks the acting is amateur the story is not even close to the books gossip girl is so much better not to mention it actually has good looking actors very disappointing

he's in like the 3rd or 4th episode, lol let me just warn you he look's NOTHING like you'd expect he's the one that say's the cupcake thing. pay attention to it cuz it's easy to miss. and it doesn't show a lot of him and Noelle together at all.

October? I meant November. Mid-Nov. or December would be great thanks. Please don't make us wait until 2010. Seriously, people, stop complaining about the web series. You're getting nowhere with this. This IS only a webseries, therefore there was a tight budget. It's not like it's airing on the CW or something. If it did, obviously, there'd be more actors, a longer plot. But, honestly? Be lucky the books ever turned into a series you can view. I'd just like to share that. I thought the directors did an amazing job of fitting 250 pages into less than an hour.

So I was just rewatching the finale and i looked at the picture at the end. It kind of looks like reed. Maybe somebody in her family was a billings girls or something. Like an old relative. I don't know just thinking.

Cantrell - Yes, we did. It was a note, though we have no idea what it said. And a set of paintbrushes - the first time Josh showed that he cared about Reed (the paintbrush flinging scene)

hey kate I really enjoy all you're books i'm a really big fan. Remember in the first book Noelle had a scar, well i've been wondering what that scar was because it didn't come up in any of the books in the series.
