OMG OMG OMG I just called borders because they had called me 3 days ago so i called them back and i got revelation in so im going there in like 2 hours to get the book and i am so freakin syked about this!!!!!!! P.S. if u guys want book really bad like me just order them in the store or on the computer and they will come like days before the release date so heads up 4 future advise. I've already read Revelations, and I just want to say, it was amazing. Although I had my suspicions, I can honestly say that the ending wasn't very far up on my list. I was actually truly and honestly surprised, which is hard to do with me. And with that ending, well, wow. I won't reveal spoilers since the book has yet to be officially released, and I for one hate having a book ruined for me. Anyway, it was brilliant. I can't wait for the next installment. Is there a release date for the next one yet? Also, for the first few books I was able to deduce who the characters were on the covers, but for the past few ones I've been confused. Maybe if that could be clarified, if you have time? You're an incredible writer. I only wish to have talent like yours some day. -Shawna

No way! I just finished Revelation about an hour ago and I can't believe I was right! I posted in one of the other blogs that there was something weird about Sabine having a sister that she visited! But why do they look so different? Also, I agree with Shawna - who are the people on the last few covers? From left to right on Revelation, I thought it was Sabine, Reed, Amberly, and Noelle. Makes sense, right?

Yeah Caitlin, the next book after Revelation is Paradise Lost which comes out in February 2009. I loved Revelation! It was so cool and suspensful. The ending is going to be the death of me though. Morgan- Yes all of the private series will be from Reeds point of view. The prequel is the only one from the Private Series not in Reeds point of view.

OMJ. KATE I KNOW UR READING THIS, and I just finished Revelation. If what I believe and everyone else believes happened at the end of Revelation to you know who actually happened, I SWEAR after reading the book that tells what happens to that person is released and IT really did happened I will NEVER pick up ANY of your books again. u should but i use them as fill in books like while im waiting for a sequal to come out for my fav series like the private and stuff i have fill in books and this was one of them and it a really good series its like goosip girl but boarding school style read it if u love books with drama like she said he said type stuff i like to read them becuz it takes me out of my drama filled world and puts me right in the book like private

O.m.g. I love this series as much as all of you. I can't wait for the new book to come out and see what finally happens. I'm sitting on the edge of my seat!!! I also really hope that Blake Person appears in the books again. I can't believe that he was only in one book! He was my all time favorite character. I'm like in love with him! I can totally see why Noelle had a crush on him when he was at school with her, I know I would have. I really though that reed and Blake would get together I mean I know that would be kind of sick since she dated his brother but come on they were soul mates! I don't believe that Blake really was in love with Ms. Lewis-Hanneman. He just had such a damaged past. I mean look at his parents, they were crazy. Thomas hated them too!!!!! RIGHT?!?!?! He just had a messed up family life. He was lying when he said he loved her!!! It was only to hide his true feelings for Reed!!!!

Hey Kate i got the new book revelation already and i read it. It was so amazing!! i dont wanna ruin it for anybody so im just gonna say that the ending was so intense. i was actually shaking. no joke. i got kinda scared and i still cant get over it. after i was done reading i checked the pages after like i usually do and there is only sneek peeks of Last christmas and the new Priveledge series. So i was just wondering if there is going to be a continuation to the private series because i seriously cant be left on the note that Revelation ended....i just NEED to know when the next one is coming out! dont worry though im sure ill be pre-occupid reaging Last Christmas in October and then Priveledge in December. I just really hope that the other book comes out soon=] LOVE YOUR BOOKS!!!

omg!!!!!! i got the book yesterday and read it in like 2 and a half hours it was incredible but the ending was such a cliff hanger!!!!!! i cant wait for 5 more months thats just horrible!! plus reed and josh have to get back together or else i will get really mad. she now has a reason for what happened at the legacy and he should break up with ivy and forgive reed and get back together with her because they are in love and they are just meant to be together :))) come on kate do the right thing with them!!!!!

okay. so that was amazing. one of the best books i ever read. i was so surprised! honestly. and my understanding was that at the end josh jumped in front of reed so he got shot. it was so amazing and one of the things that always change in her books is who i like. because like i keep hating people and then loving them, like Noelle and ...someone else. but kate brian, you are honestly like my favorite author ever, these are like my favorite books ever. but please please please please don't have josh die! that would be terrible. <3 you all.

Everyone! I do not see Kate killing off Josh and then having everyone go the Carbbeian for vacation. She will not end a mystery like that. Plus I would not see her putting Reed through losing another boyfriend. I truely think it was Sabine that was shot and her gun just went off. Reed I believe passed out because she said she was super cold and could not breathe. IMO, Kate would not put Reed in that much pain and have the Billing Girls go on vacation to cause trouble.

I know reed wouldnt die because the whole series is in her point of view.I hoping sabine maybe tried to kill herself. lol omg idk about the spoilers and danny i know how u feel about the AP classes. in my freshman year i had 1 and like 3 honors classes. im a sophmore now and i have AP World History, pre-AP eng 2, chemistry 1 honors, Geometry Honors, and just plain french lol but its hard enough to be an honors. anyways should we wait just a little bit longer or should we just openly talk abot the book????? im so confused but i dont want to ruin it for someone.

the next one in the private series is paradise lost, which comes out in feb. then they have the prequal last christmas, comes out in two weeks. then in dec, privleged comes out, which is about ariana and what would happen if she got out.

OH MY GOD!! just got finished and i couldnt stop saying oh my god for like a half hour!!! lol. but ya i was mad cuz i wanna know what happens next... but ya i was guessing it was sabine becuz when read n her were at the library and reed said somethin like "i'm goin to get somethin to eat, want anything?" for some reason rite at that poin i was like OMG! it was SABINE!!!!!! and so it kinda spoiled the ending a lil for me but ya... and AWESOME book! i cant wait til the next one cuz i NEED TO KNOW what happens and if it was the police who shot sabine instead of sabine shooting reed or josh... so ya... im REALLY EXCITED for the next book!!!!!!!!!!!!

i know jeannie ur right. my opinion is that sabine shoots noelle cuz she was right by reed. I also think that Ivy knows how much they like each other and the only reason she dated him was to help make reed jealous.

I doubt it was Josh who actually got shot because that would be the obvious choice... just like it wasn't Ivy (or Amberly or Noelle or any of the other more obvious suspects) who killed Cheyanne. I really think it was Noelle who got shot because she was standing behind Reed, close enough to be grabing her arm - in the picture I had in my mind (which is completely subjective, I know), Noelle was the closest person to her, but I really doubt that she actually dies. Regardless of who actually got shot, I really hope they don't die. Thanks for bringing us another great book, Kate. I am very much looking forward to the books that are on the way.

WOW!!!! The Private series is the best series. I just finished REVELATION like five minutes ago and it was so good. I never expected Sabine, even tough i knew there would be a twist. I hope no one dies though, especially josh and reed. because they were meant to be, they just fit together. But i dont know if i can wait for the next book. But at least LAST CHRISTMAS is coming out soon. Looks great.

Jennie- I agree with you completely. That is what I think happened or that the police shot her and that her gun just went off. So that no one got shot. Because as we know things are not always as them seem in the private books.

i coudn't beleive the end of revelation! IT WAS SABINE!!!!!!! she said she did it too get revenge on reed for getting her SISTER ARIANA locked up.if you recall in revelation she said she helped her siter(ariana)through a tough break up. she ment with thomas. and she said she visited her sister (ariana) over the break they left after cheyenne od'd. but she really killed cheyenne and she held the same gun she fired at reed to cheyenne's head to make her take all of those pills. at the ned sabine says that she is like her sister but she's going to finsh wat she started then she fires the gun at reed but josh jumps in front of reed then everything went blank

Omg when I was reading the fifth boook I said to my sister I bet Ariana is Sabines sister or knows her sister when she kept bringing up her sister in that book. I knew something was going to be up with that sister, but then MY sister talked me out of it and I totally forgot until she said the photo was folded!! It was sooo good. some how i kinda knew it was sabine...ivy was 2 obvious, marc to, um, dorky amberly alittle to full of hot nothing in her head, and rose idk she seemed to not having the guts to do that u know? i almost though maybe dash did it because he likes or loves reed and didnt like that cheyenne was making her life A LIVING hell. but then idk he doesnt seem the type either. i will admite tho sabine is a good actress(like some kid said in the 4th book...its always the quiet ones!) she really did put on a good show i even wonder if she really even liked gage or not.

I loved this book so much! I was so glad to have all the secrets finally released and Noelle is finally Reeds friend again! I was really hoping that Blake Person would come back at the beginning of this book though. But I'm so glad. I bet that he is the one who will have jumped infront of the bullet to save Reeds life. Now they can finally be together because Blake realized his true feelings and also SAVED REEDS LIFE!!! NOW THEY WILL LOVE EACH OTHER FOREVER!!!!!!!!!! =) I loved this book and can't wait for the next.

OMGGGG Emilyyy i love you!!!! as wierd as that sounds becasue i dont know you but your idea about it being the POLICE that shoot Sabine in the nick of time is amazing!!! i really hope thats what happened because if Josh jumped in front of Reed anyway then Reed will know that Josh still cares about her and still loves her and it will cause this whole drama thing with Ivy. Revelation came out. I got it on the first day and finished it in six hours (and also before I started homework) because I don't pre-order books. It was awesome. I wish I hadn't read the last page ahead of time, though. It kinda ruined it for me. If I hadn't done that, I would have been so surprised at the end. I also can't wait until Last Chrismas, Privilege (the new series, woot!), and Paradise Lost (which I hear is coming out on February? shweet.) I love Kate Brian and the Private Series. My best friend loves The Clique Series. She's all for Clique and I'm always all for Private, but we all know Private kicks the Clique's ass, right? But my friend and I are gonna do this thing where she reads Private and I start reading The Clique. I also love Sweet Sixteen. That was probably one of the.. three books that made me shed tears. It was awesome. I should read more Kate Brian books, because honestly, she's (or.. you're?) like my favorite author. :)

OMG, I just bought te last revelation book at Coles the other day. I so would have cried if I never go there before. I am so excited to finish reading it!! I cannot wait!! Don't worry girlies she already has book nine and ten on the way. Book nine is called Paridise Lost and you can already pre-order it on barnes and noble.com. Does anyone think that Josh got killed cause it says he jumped for Reed right before the gun fired or maybe Noelle got shot because she was right behind Reed. Guys, remember in the legacy reed said that there was sumthing in her pink drinks..she was right. Sabine put estocy or however u spell it, in her/ dashes drinks. So, this means that Josh was mad at reed to no reason! he so has to apologies to reed. And breakup with Ivy and get back with her!!

i read this book in less than four hours, i actually just finished about ten minutes ago. right after i finished my freak out about who i thought got shot i immediatley texted my friend, who hadn't read the book yet, telling her that she needed to speed it along so i could have someone to flip-out with. i don't think i can wait until february for the next one. i mean, i love these intense cliffhangers, but they are killing me!

she shouldnt do a series on tv, more like a few movies. tv shows get old, plus too many episodes that wouldnt be as powerful as the books. movies would be way better, kindof like harry potter books to movies, but nothing like that type and way way way better. it would be the biggest thing ever. but yeah, movies would be better. way way way way way better. think about it.

I luved Josh. her is soooo perfect for reed and ivy is soo not 4 josh. she actually is nicer than she seems because she was like helping reed and all and she didn't want reed to go confront reed because she feared sabine was dangerous which she was but reed finds trouble which makes her amazing post bak girlies..

I'm definitely sure that Reed's not dead cuz the Private series couldn't continue with out her. meaning there wouldn't be Lost Paradise. Cuz Reed is the narrator of the books. Everything is in her point of view. so to continue the series would mean that she's still alive! but i'm guessing that since Reed isn't dead that somebody dodged the bullet for her. Or that Reed survived the bullet wound which wouldn't be possible for the next book cuz if reed got shot then she would be in the hospital instead on vacation with the Billings Girls. WOW! i over think too much. but I'm pretty sure I'm right about the my epiphany of reed not being dead. Well...I LOVED the book!!! i wish that instead of confronting Sabine, Reed would of talked to Josh and Noelle first so i wouldn't have to wait so long for Paradise Lost and then find out!!! Life's sooo not fair. lol. but whoever said it was

Someone else shot her? Wow, that's a good theory! That would be really cool. Like I still hope Sabien is evil too but it would be neat if someone else was in on it. I can't wait for the look back to Arianna's life at Easton. Before she was murdrous and everything! I really, really, really, hope that Blake is in it. LIKE HE AND NOELLE COULD HAVE A LOVE AFFAIR. I borrowed the book from my firned yesterday and i finished it late last night! I started crying! (big surpise there...not! ahaha) Anyways, my friends think that the next book will pick up when Reed's in the hospital. And Sabine closed her eyes when she shot the gun....maybe josh pushed her out of the way and it either hit him or noelle(cuz noelle was in back of reed). It was a definate shocker it was Sabine and the whole Sabine sisters Ariana. They don't even look alike.

Wow revelation was so good! I have no idea who got shot but if it was Reed you know she wont die because the series cant go on if she's dead. So it was probably either Josh or Noelle. It is sad about Ariana being locked up with the mean counselor person! Ugh! But she still killed Thomas. And for Last Christmas, I don't like her boyfriend Daniel. Can't wait to read about Thomas. Maybe somebody gets shot but doesn't die. Stupid Sabine. It made me sad/surprised when Kate put that Sabine put the gun towards Trey's heart! AH! And when Reed was like she could see her life flash back: Josh, Noelle, Thomas....and then her dog. aha..but it wasn't funny it was sad.

there better be another book cause I only read four series of books in my life: Harry Potter, The It Girl, The A-List and Private. I was already bummed out about Harry Potter ending. Please Dont End this one for Me. Its a really good series it always keeps you on the edge of your seat. I think it would be a good movie or a show.
