I've always thought that the Kiran model would be more fitting as Reed, and I think that the girl in the middle of book 7 is a perfect Ivy. Other than that, I think everyone's well-suited to their character.

i dont think the people on the covers of the books are supposed to be charecters from the book. they are just meant to be models. anyways i really like the cover for last christamas. but about the whole movie idea-as cool and amazing as it might be, im just afraid about the charecters. they always mess up the charecters in other movies and i have a specific picture of what they all look like in my head and it would ruin it for me if they pick people who look nothing like my charecters.

Hey Kate! Yay im one of the first few. Soon there will be hundreds. Well anyways i really love your avatars and backrounds. My computer has a really cool private backround because of course private is the best series in the universe. Then for chatting systems i have like a private avatar or icon. I think thats really cool. We can show our private pride (: But all in all I think the backrounds are the coolest because when u log onto your computer you can see it right away and yea. Oh Kate, by the way. I think its a horrible idea to make this into a movie or t.v show. Movies always ruin the books. The characters are sometimes not right and that kind of changes my mind on liking things. And private is better as a book its really great and a movie would just ruin it.

I picture some of the girls on the cover when i read the books, but i do add my own little features to them. Usually the picture in my head of the characters in books are TOTALLY DIFFERENT but in your books, you describbe them so well that i can't help but to imagine them the way they were intended!!

I loved Paradise Lost! I really didn't like Upton because he was just too much of a player and didn't seem as sincere as Josh (who I love). Reed and Josh need to get back together because they're perfect! And September 1... ahhh. That's gonna be a long wait. Oh well, I'm sure it'll be worth it! :)

i may not be to Paradise Lost yet but i'm almost done with Revelation but from the other sayings on this page i guess Josh and Reed don't back together. i really wanted them too. i cried when he broke up with her. but i guess she had a reason to do the things she did with Dash... and they should get over it.. i can't believe sweet Sabine did it. that was a really good twist to it.. i'm thinking about reading The V Club it looks good... hi kate, this is not about your private series but it's about megan meade's guide to the mcgowan boys. I loved it so much and i keep reading it over and over again and i just wanted to ask you if you can make another book on megan meade and the mcgowan boys? i dont care if its short i just want more detail on evan,finn, and megan and who is megan gonna date and is hailey and evan broken up because you never mentioned that in the book but i love your book i have never finished a book so fast and loved it.

oh my god these books are amazing! i'll find myself thinking about them randomly throughout the day so congrats on writing something that's so influencing and great! i hope Josh and Reed end up together in the next book but i have to read Paradise Lost first to see this Upton guy haha oh and PLEASE don't make the books into a movie or television series because the characters will seriously be ruined by actors and actresses who probably won't be able to portray Reed or Noelle the right way. keep up the excellent writing and i can't wait for your new book to come out!

i love ur books...i finished paradise lost..and quite honestly..upton was introduced like a player in the beginning but after time i began to love upton. however, josh and reed NEED, NEED ,NEED TO GET BACK TOGETHER...and can you warn readers that have not read the book that there might be spoilers becuase i was a victim!

Hey kate! So I LOVE THIS NEW BOOK! I do miss josh, and I don't really like him with Ivy, but I love how you added more romance in this book with Upton. I love Reed and josh together <3. I love how you write, and please never stop, because your books are the only books that I read! I can't wait for the new one to come out. The only thing I would like, is if for one book, the bad bad stuff would stop happening to Reed. I find she gets picked on a lot, and it makes me sad! I love your books, and I know it takes awhile to write and do the whole process of making the book, but please hurry up! But I was looking on some online bookstores and saw that you're having a book called Perfect Mistake coming out this October... Is that the next Privilege book after Beautiful Disaster?? Hey Kate I love the Private series. I can NOT wait for Beautiful Disaster.... I hope Reed is still alive I was freaking out. Kate can you please put up the first Chapter of Beautiful Disaster. I really want to find out if Reed is ok and who the person is who pushed her off. I really want Reed to date Upton. Upton may be a player but I think Reed could change him for the better. I think Upton really cares for Reed the way Thomas did. Reed and Josh do not belong together. Josh should be her best friend. Reed could not open up to him. I think if Thomas or Upton were around at the time Sabine was trying to kill Reed that they would have known about it. Upton really reminds me of Thomas. Thomas is the only one of Reeds friends/boyfriends who knew about her mom. Reed needs someone she can open up to. I think that person is Upton. You can tell that Reed really cares for Upton the way she cared for Thomas and vise versa.

ok kate i have a question!! when u rite the books, do u plan out what happens beforehand? b/c u have such amazing forshadowing in the books! like for example, josh's seat was in a different position in 1 book and later we find out that it was b/c noelle was driving. stuff like that. do u have it all planed out what will happen in the books, or do u make it up as you go along

I just wanna start off by saying I love your books!! I just started to read them on Tuesday and I just finished Legacy yesterday. These books are so amazing and I finish them so quickly! I use all of the background on my computer and on my blackberry. Me and my friends send each other e-cards everyday. I just read that on the Private cover the center one on the front is suppose to be Noelle. I always pictured Reed as her. I also read that Kiran was the one on the but i thought that in Private she had long brown (maybe it was black) hair, at least I know it said she wore it in a bun. I also thought that Taylor was blonde and it says that the one on the far right is Taylor. I guess everyone has their own interpretations. I cannot wait for all the next books to read, especially Paradise Lost. Thanks for doing what you do. :]

Okay so first of all my favorite download was the Last Christmas wallpaper. OK so I seriously just like 10 minutes ago finished Paradise lost and it was absolutley AWESOME!! I read it in 2 days. But after the last 2 chapters i decided that i dont like Upton at all. He is such a player and I think he is a jerk for doing that to Reed. She is such a sweet girl and diserves a guy way better then Upton. I really liked him at first and thought that he was perfect for Reed, but again and again he kept cheating on her and kissing other girls, and again and again he kept breaking her heart. But i cant wait for Suspicion to come out cause i need to know who it was that pushed her over the side of the boat. I love you and your books and i cant wait for Suspicion and beautiful disaster!!!

I love the Private series! everytime i get one of the next books i won't stop reading until i'm finished, then i get sad because i wished that i had've savoured it. i will definitely be upset when the series ends. the books are amazing. I am glad that you brought back Kiran and Taylor in Paradise Lost. and Upton sounds HOT! i used to think that Josh and Reed should get back together, but not so much anymore. because every since Reed and Ivy started to be on the "same team" it just wouldnt be right. and Josh is happy with Ivy. and if he got back together with Reed it would just go back to square one, with him hating Reed, since she's back in Billings now, and history would just end up repeating itself. so those are some of my thoughts... and please keep up the series, you're doing a GREAT job! :) -Megan

Hey Kate! i absolutly adore your books i have read private from the start and all the books are equally amazing! i just started to read privilege today, and i already finished it cuz it was soooooo good!!! i loved it! i used to rlly like ariana til the thomas thing and then i rlly didnt like her. but i found myself feeling really sorry for her i couldnt imagine having togive up my friends and family. but anyway how many books r u gnna write for private? I really really really love these books and I read the first 7 of them along time ago all in one day. I just finished the 8th and 9th books and I am insanely irritated that it will be September before I learn of who it was who pushed Reed. I would just like to say that I would love it if Reed dumped Upton and got with a real man, a man like Sawyer! I feel like he is mature enough to handle her baggage and sweet just like the Thomas and Josh. Obviously she cannot remain with Josh because her and Ivy are now friends. It would be cruel for Josh to dump Ivy. Personally I was glad that Upton didn't get his way with Reed, oh poor Poppy. I hope Poppy pushed Upton over the edge, he is a loser! I am voting for Sawyer all the way, I actually thought that she was gonna dump the loser Upton and date Sawyer when he gave her that necklace. Oh, Reed needs to learn a lot more about boys. Please do NOT tell me that Sawyer is the one that pushed Reed! I will be very unhappy with that outcome!

i just got done with paradise lost literally 3 minutes ago, and i cant get enough! iv read all the gossip girl and a-list and clique novels but your book take the cake! i have read the pretty little liar novels also which in a way are like your but now i know that there is absolutly no compareison!I can not wait to see how(or if?) reed servives please write quickly, i no that maybe a difficult task but please at least give us some ideas to ponder? please? im sure i speak for all of your fans when i say if you want to put the first chapter up we wouldnt disagree!!!

so im basically super excited for the new book to come out. =] about all this movie talk. ive said it before...it would be amazing. Have you watched "secret life of an american teenager"? well the girl who plays the lead, in my mind, would totally make a belivable reed. shes little and kinna shy the perfect reed. i really think that you should look into this because it would be a huge seller and i would love to see my favorate books come to life.

I keep expecting to finally reach the end of the series, but you continue to leave me BEGGING for more! I cannot believe all that has happened. I've been dying to know what became of Ivy and why Josh wasn't mentioned again. I love Upton and have my Suspicions about Poppy and Paige. I cannot believe Reed is on the verge again! This is my first comment, yay! well Kate, I'm definitly a late comer to reading these books, as I just finished Untouchable. I made the mistake of reading Privlege first, and I have to say that I absolutely LOVE Ariana. So, my reading is all out of whack but I just can't get enough of the Private series. I'll be honest, when I first saw your book, Private, I thought it was going to be just another second rate book about the drama of everyday life. I admit, I was WAY wrong. These books aren't just for girls either, I'm a boy and I love reading them. Thank you for being such an amazing author! Ok, so I think I'm the only one that feels this way but I really like Upton and I would like to see Reed stay with him in the next book. Lets face it, the Josh thing will never happen. If Ivy survives, Josh will be too guilty to leave her and Reed will look like a horrible person if she pursues him, esp. since she's basically the reason Ivy got shot. And, if Ivy dies, Josh and Reed will feel too guilty to ever be together. Upton is different and maybe Reed really can make him a better person while also finding some drama free love. I mean he does picnics and horseback riding. Hello prince charming!!!

DONT READ IF YOU HAVENT FINISHED PARADISE LOST!!!! Does anyone else think that Mrs. Ryan pushed Reed? Just like Sabine tried to take revenge on behalf of Ariana maybe Mrs. Ryan did too. After all, her son Daniel did date Reed and he was absolutely in love with her. Maybe Mrs. Ryan somehow holds Reed responsible for the demise of the relationship even though it was Ariana who broke it off with him in hopes of having a relationship with Thomas. Poppy just seems like too obvious of suspect to have actually pushed Reed.

You are an incredible author, as I know you have been told before. I just do not understand why you made reed almost die in revelation, and now in paradise lost. since you are (thankfully!!!!) writing another one, I am forgiving you...haha. But, please, have Josh and Reed get back together, Upton is just a summer fling, jerk dude, (excuse my language) and I honestly think, and strongly believe Reed is meant for Josh. Forget Ivy, she is mean. I realize you probably already know what is going to occur in your next novel, however I would extremely appreciate it if you would take the time to read this comment. Then again by the time you read that sentence you will have already read the contest. Ugh I can not wait till September. Lost Paradise was so good, and of course you had to leave us with the biggest cliff hanger ever. I want to know what happens, there are so many people that could of pushed her. Oh and I really don't like Upton kid. It seems like he keeps on lying to Reed about how he changed. I like Sawyer though, him and his brother should transfer to Easton, maybe there can be something between Reed and Sawyer.

Kate Brian you are my idol! You have inspried me to read more. I absolutely hated reading! But my friend was readting LUCKY T and on the back it was showing the cover of Private and it looked interesting so i read it awhile ago and i was absolutely addicted. Now i read at least 2 hours a day non-stop.i got paradise lost early and read it! it was bloody awesome! the best book you've ever written! I LOVE UPTON! I was like about to cry because there was no little insert saying that there was going to be another book. I was like freaking out. Kate, don't stop writing Private or Privledge. Hey, I just wanted to say that I finished Privilege (my mom was saving it for April vacation but caved), and like with Last Christmas, all the bits involving her mother made me cry :( I think it's partly because Ariana's mom reminds me so much of my best friend and I end up feeling really connected to her because of it, but I'm also a very emotional person in general and would probably cry anyway. I know it's sort of implausible, but I really wish there were a way for them to see each other again. I can't hate Ariana with that kind of element in her background. I think the worst part for me was when she left the necklace with Briana Leigh's body so everyone would be sure it was her. I know it's probably way too much to ask, but could you at least consider trying to find a way to reunite them? I just can't stand it. I can't stand the thought of Mandy--uh, Ariana's mom never seeing her baby again. :(

Hey Kate! I wanted to let you know that all of your books are great! And they just keep getting better! One thing I would absolutely love would be if you could make the Private series into a tv series! I know that it is people like movie studio executives and others who contribute to making that possible, but I think it would really be a big hit. I would watch EVERY single episode. The Private series are so well written. And there are so many books, that it would make a great television series like, "Gossip Girl." I have talked to several of my friends and we all agree that it should be made into a movie. We came up with this list of 10 reasons why the private series should be made into a movie/TV show. 10 Reasons Why: 1. There needs to be a new show on tv. We all love Gossip Girl, CSI, and America's Next Top Model, but there needs to be a fresh, new, hip show. The Private Series would be great for that. Not only does it deliver the scandalous things that happen in Gossip Girl, but it also includes intriguing things like murders. That is practically all three of the shows above mixed in a way that would deeply satisfy the average fan/couch potato. 2.We've read all of the books that have come out so far. There is not much to do besides imagine what is going to happen next--which is not a bad thing, because using our imaginations can fun and creative. But it would be nice to watch weekly episodes of the books we have already read, and instead of imagining the characters, we can actually see them being portrayed by actors/actresses. 3.I need a new tv show niche. 4.The people who may start watching the show, being fascinated by the commercials, will probably want to read the books--leaving you with more money! And who doesn't love some extra cash! 5. Although I have already vaguely touched up on this area, I would really like to see how the books would be portrayed. I wonder how Easton will look, how all of the characters will look, (although you have already done a brilliant job describing them in your books) and I want to see how everything all together will be. 6. I bet everyone who has read the books want to see them be made into a movie/tv show. 7. There are probably some actresses/actors who are probably broke or currently unemployed who would portray one of the characters well, and would greatly appreciate being hired. 8. Don't you think, as an author, that it would be beyond excellent to see them as a tv show. To think that you created the characters that are on the television screen. To know that you were the one to come up with that. That would bring me great joy. 9. Whats better than sitting with friends, finishing up your homework on a school night, while watching your fave tv show? The answer: NOTHING! (Other than reading the Private series, of course. :D) 10. Last, but not least, the books are so great. Why not? There are countless other reasons, but it is getting kind of late. If I think of more in the middle of my sleep, or of other sort, I will write them down and holler out. I hope I have inspired you. Hello Kate, I read ever book so far I hope after suspicion you'll kepp doing the Private Series I love all the books, after I read "Paradise Lost" I thought Reed was a goner, but th en I rmembered they was not that far from shore...Thank Goodness....Can't wait to read "Suspicion".Right now Im trying to finish reading your 1st book of the Priveleged series. I hope the Private Series become a movie. I hope Reed ends up with Josh or Upton..Upton needs to work on not flirting so much though... P.S. i agree with simone on the movie or t.v. show idea. i have the images of what the characters look like in my head, and i don't want that ruined. but keep the books coming for sure kate!!!! and i really want you to post the first chapter of suspicion soon... heck, maybe even the first chapter of beautiful disaster soon. yes paradise lost was amazingi literally read it in one day and it was during school! haha not the best choice but i got thru it and ii still have all A's haha. So down to buissness... I wish the book came out earlier, maybe u cud push the date to sometime during summer becuz i'm having a book read off with all my friends then. ") yes we're that obssesed with books like these haha! i think this shud also be made into a movie! me and my friends are making our own and if i figure out how to post it on here i will!!! My sister and I are both reading the books(I've read all of them+Last Christmas+Privilege twice), and we realized that in one book, you call Hell Hall "Hale Hall" and then in another you call it "Hull Hall". Hey hi! LOVE the books! I can't wait for the next one! Must be even MORE amazing then the last! I am SO glad Beautiful Disaster is coming out in June. Impossible to wait THAT long for the next one... Anywho, I recently talked a couple of friends into reading it, they stay up till 1.oo am reading it! I can read one myself in 4 hours! I also love how intense they get towards the middle and then end on a cliff-hanger. I own every single book of yours (except for Last Christmas) and all of my friends are asking me for them. Kinda annoying because when you want to read it, its gone! grrr... lol! Love the books! Keep writing PLEASE!

Kate- your books are my favorite! I rush into the book store every time i KNOW that one is coming out and buy it. When i bought Paradise Lost, i sat in my car for one hour and began reading it until the security guard asked what I was doing, and she just couldnt understand my passion for your books. I ALWAYS finish the nest private book the day I buy it and the leave me wanting more. P.S. you should keep Reed with Upton, its a good change of pace. Can't wait till September first, even if it is a really long ways away :(

This is hands down the best book series i have ever read!Can't wait for suspicion! I hope it solves alot of unanswered questions for Reed. And hopefully there are more books to come!I'm not sure if Reed should stay with Upton. He was a player at one point, and who knows if he will still be one or if he can actually change. Upton even left to go after Poppy, which shows he still cares about her and would ignore Reed in a time like that.Reed should not fall for this guy.I don't want Reed to get hurt. Who would push Reed off the boat? There are so many suspects. Also who has been doing those insane pranks on Reed? For example the JetSki that wouldnt stop, and the dead bird in her room?? We need answers! Josh must be blind to see that Reed still cares about him. Josh is lame for staying with Ivy.Ivy can go and be with someone else (who really cares) just as long Reed is happy in the end. -I'm going to count down the days until suspicion! THANK YOU!

AH! Today I bought Last Christmas and Privilege, I finished both of them! I thought the series was done when Reed died, I'm so majorly stoked for another one to come out! Also, If you did make a movie.. I used to read the clique books and the movie ruined them for me. Because this dumb face the actress was making the whole time, silly but whatever. OH MY GOSH. I just spent two hours reading paradise lost and AGGG. You always leave us hanging with those endings! I think it's Mrs.Ryan who pushed Reed! I can't believe you're making us wait this long, atleast possibly, release the first chapter during summer or something? Kate Brian- i LOVE your books and when i finished reading Paradise Lost i loved it! my opinion on Upton isn't that great i don't like Upton and Reed if he loved her he would have stayed with her during the party but he ran after Poppy so he obvisily still cares about her. I love josh all the way! you can tell Reed and Josh love each other still and they are perfect for eachother and need eachother and Josh needs to dump Ivy and get with Reed and Ivy should get with Upton it is a little twist which you tend to do a lot in your books :D! please don't kill off read because killing her is like killing the whole series to me kind of like king kong when he dies at the end it ruined the movie for me. please read my comment and consider on these thoughts of mine! Ok so your books are amazing! and I can not wait until suspicion. First of all I have to figure out if Reed is dead or not! I'm a little scared to find out and I want Reed and Josh to get back to together!! I love Josh Hollis! I like Thomas at first but tehn after everything that happened with him I started to think he was to much of a player for Reed and the drug dealer thing was very unexpected and untrustworthy....but anyway as much as I love Upton Giles and as amazing and hot as he sounds! :) Josh was so great! I defintely don't blame him for leaving Reed after the legacy thing but Sabine is the one who did it! and she messed with reed and dash! that was so suprising!! but Josh was so caring and nice and always forgave Reed about everything! Reed defintely messed that up but I love those two together!! They were amazing! so i really do hope they get back together and Noelle and her get as close as they really used to be again! but anyway thanks for writing all these books and last christmas is on my desk right now because im reading it and it is so suprising but thanks for everything!! your books are amazing!!

Kate Brian- i LOVE your books and when i finished reading Paradise Lost i loved it! my opinion on Upton isn't that great i don't like Upton and Reed if he loved her he would have stayed with her during the party but he ran after Poppy so he obvisily still cares about her. I love josh all the way! you can tell Reed and Josh love each other still and they are perfect for eachother and need eachother and Josh needs to dump Ivy and get with Reed and Ivy should get with Upton it is a little twist which you tend to do a lot in your books :D! please don't kill off read because killing her is like killing the whole series to me kind of like king kong when he dies at the end it ruined the movie for me. please read my comment and consider on these thoughts of mine! BY THE WAY GREAT WORK ON THE SERIES AND KEEP THE GREAT WORK UP! and could you please post the first chapter of Suspicion on here so we can get a lead into the book? -Mackenzie

soo omg woah i just finsihed paradise lost and of course it was amazing just like every other book in the seriess(: so for a second i wasnt sure if another book was coming out or if reed just died when that person pushed her off the boat but im sooo excited for the next oneeee! Sooo idk how upton and reed can be toegther after this little vaca soo im rooting for ivy to go fall off a cliff so reed and josh can finally be together again<3333

hey! i love your books! i read them in pretty much a day! well i am very excited about suspicion,but i wish it came out sooner...well you are an amazing writer! im dying to know who is trying to kill reed now. ithink i know who pushed reed! :D in the book its say Mrs Ryan went upstairs and so did Poppy when she ran away crying. Reed also went upstairs (hint...hint...clue)but the thing that trew me off was that the book said quote i smelt an odd husky smell before i could turn around to see where the smell was coming from end quote and that was where reed was pushed in and the husky scent was the scent Ivy Slade wears. you can find this info out in revelation when Reed was in Ivy's room snooping and hid in the closet when ivy came in to grab something and Reed choked on the Husky scent that Ivy wore...so those three are my main suspects please comment on any clues you guys have found out or any intresting info thanks -Mackenzie

HELLO!!! I love the books!!! You should TOTALLY make the book into a movie. TRUST ME it would be like the "Best Movie of the Year" FOR SURE! PLEASEE!!!!!! I would make a great SABINE. i absoulty adore her character, and i match her description completly! Also i love acting, and im pretty darn good at it too. haha! I'm not asking you to make a movie, so that i can act in it. NO WAY. But i KNOW it would be unbelievbly breath-taking, just like the book. kate ive got a question in privalege they only mention one time that sabine is arianas sister only when shes googoling herself and says about the article about sabine but bisides that they dont mention sabine at all, and contradicts like the mom saying ariana is her only daughter and in the funeral she doesnt even appear or arianas not care about sabine not showing up, i really want to know where the hell sabine comes from and hoow is she really ariaanas sister? and another question the funerall fits with the private books when, when does it suuppose to be happenind, paradise lost? i really apriciate if you would answer my questions or a lot of questions everybodys asking... thnks a lot .. xoxo

I read Paradise Lost a while ago and I finally have time to comment about it. I have to say that I was a little disappointed. Don't get me wrong, it was still a very good book, but I expected more from it. I wish Josh was in it for more than the first few pages. I was REALLY looking forward to more Josh/Reed interaction! Josh and Reed need to get back together. Upton Giles is obviosly a player, and if I were reed i would never get back with him, obviosly he's hooked up with almost all the ohter girls and he just left reed instead of staying to comfort her. Josh sure is all with ivy but those two were so cute together! I loved it. Can't wait for the rest of these books! Never stop writing 'em! they are one of my favorite book series!!

My hair flew back from my face as I walked out the door of Billings, the wind almost knocking me back inside.My semi messy hair returned to my face for I couldn't do much with it I had to meet Josh in the caf in a few minutes.I started across the wet quad,just him telling me that he wanted to talk to me alone gave me butterflys what did he want to talk about.I touched my stomach lightly those things wouldn't stop moving would they.Did he still love me, thinking back to when we were back at the hospital.Qickly my mind swicthed to Upton remebering when he told me he loved me.I shedded a few tears. Before I knew it I was in front of the cafatiera doors.Breath.In.Out.Then I pushed the door open.There sitting at the Billings table with a sly happy grin that strechted arcoss his face.Was Josh.I walked over to the table not bothering to grab myself a tray of food. I pulled out a chair in front of him and slowly sat down."Not hungry."he said in a joking tone."No," I responed.Then all a sudden he got all serious.I could see it in his eyes he came here to settle things."Um.......Reed I wanted to talk to you well mostly about,well us."he said."Well that is what I was wondering about to."I said a blush arriving at the same time.There was pause in that moment that the cafateria was filled with people.Hearing the door open and close."Well Reed I was hoping we could still be frinds you know hand out be friends talk,"he said in such a sweet tone.Wait cut it out Reed this is a serious conversation.I opened my moth to say something."I know you and Ivy aren't the bestest of friends but I would like it if you would at least you know."he said he sounded kind of worried.Gulp.Friends with Ivy I know we have been partners trying to figure out who are stalker was and figure out who killed Cheyenne.Someone came threw the doors.Soon the caf was filled with whispers.I ignored it."You know your right, I'll go talk to her right now."I said standing up at the same time.I turned to go, then I stopped."Reed thank you." he said.I nodded.I smiled at him.Then a warm big hand was on my shoulder.It spun around,I stared into his brown eyes.Then he pulled me to him and kissed me.His tounge was fimilar and his brown eyes could could it be.I pushed away it was him it was Upton.He oulled me into his arms."Oh, Reed I missed you so much."he said in his british accent.He kissed the top of my forhead.Then he kissed me on the lips again when he pulled away I couldn't stop looking at him.I couldn;t belieave he was here."Upton, how did you get here and..."I said before he cut me off.When I looked over Upton's shoulder standing behind him just coming out of the lunch line were Nolle and Tiffany.They were just as surprised as me.Upton traced to where I was looking at.He smiled.He slung his arm over my shoulders and dragged me to Nolle and Tiffany. OMG!!!!!!!! I luv the Private series. They are sooooooo good!!!!!! Its one of my fav series which includes twilight and the clique. I can't beleive I have to wait till september 1st!!! That is hella long!! PLEASE leave like the 1st chapter of suspicion cuz that cliff hanger you left off on in Paradise Lost has got me going crazy. You should totally make this into a movie, but not until after you finish the series. I totaly LOVED Josh and I was soo disappointed when they didn't get bac together. I was like "WHAT!!!" They NEED to get back together. I started to like Upton more than Josh but then after wat he did at the end of paradise lost I was like " O hell no! Wat a jerk." Josh and Reed belong together. WOW KATE! you keep up the good work!...me and my friends made a club about private series lovers...and we got over 200 people in our club from my city!...and over half of us want a tv series...and if there is a tv series we all want it to be like 1 and a half show bcuz of all the books there are in one semester..so yeah... :) ...we will always read your books kate! Jeelow: There was no deck. In PL it said "Before I hit the water..." Also, Mackenzie, it's musky, not husky. Sorry that was just bugging me. But I don't think it could've been Ivy considering she was off campus when Noelle asked Reed to come to St. Bart's and back to Billings. I have to say it was Taylor, cause she wanted to win the Upton game soo badly. Maybe she's crazy too.

Oh my gosh, you do not know how excited I am to know you're doing Suspicion! My friends and I all read them, and we thought this one was the last one and we were freaking out at the end because we knew you couldn't leave it hanging like that!!! I really like Upton, and I hope he isn't going anywhere! And the nickname Hurrican Reed is pretty cool, even though it's not suppose to be good or anything! But Keep Writing!!!

seriously mackenzie. no one would of thought of that. but that is true. i remember it. but how could ivy get on the boat. does she have blonde hair? and they were just beginning to become friends. she lost alot of blood from the shot so i dont think she could recover that quickly. plus josh would at least tell reed something right? btw y hasnt josh called/texted reed. anyone have any ideas?

At the begin of paradise lost I liked upton ally but at the end I really didn't I Can't belive that he left her to go talk to poopy an I actully want her and sawyer to get to tether and I think Paige amberly and seinna pushed her of Kate thanks so much for the books I absolutely LOVE them

all ive got to say is OMG I love te private series :D seriously ive read paradise lost like four times! I can't wait or suspicion to come out. I loved Upton, but i don't get how he could just leave reed like that to go take care of poppy :[ I can't believe someone tried to kill reed AGAIN! I'm thinking it was either poppy or Mrs. Ryan... anyways.. kep u te great work!! An i can't wait for suscpicion much love. :]

i think i know who pushed reed! :D in the book its say Mrs Ryan went upstairs and so did Poppy when she ran away crying. Reed also went upstairs (hint...hint...clue)but the thing that threw me off was that the book said quote i smelt an odd husky smell before i could turn around to see where the smell was coming from end quote and that was where reed was pushed in and the husky scent was the scent Ivy Slade wears. you can find this info out in revelation when Reed was in Ivy's room snooping and hid in the closet when ivy came in to grab something and Reed choked on the Husky scent that Ivy wore...so those three are my main suspects please comment on any clues you guys have found out or any intresting info thanks -Mackenzie

KATE! I totally agree with 90% of people. Josh+Reed. its perfect. its what poeple want to read. Ilove Josh. he's so amazing and needs reed just like she needs him. Ivy is just an obstacle in my mind. Ok so first things first. I would love to see how others portrayed the charcters. I mean sure theyll change somethings but it would still be awesome to be able to watch the series! I would like to say that i can NOT wait for the next book. That cliffhanger was crazy. However I must say im not that big a fan of pardise Lost. I mean it was amazing, but i really think her not being at easton took awy from the book a lil. Im looking foward to see who pushed reed though. I would love Josh and Reed to betogether but I do kinda like Upton....except for at the end. then he just pissed me off. But seriously Kate your like my favorite author, and I read like constantly! ok can I just say that you are like my favorite author! Private is probally the best series I ever read (and Im a Twilight fan!) Your books are just amazing. That cliffhanger was crazy! I cant wait to see what happens. Although I reallly hope she returns to Easton, I think her being away took away from the book alil. However i still LOVED Paradise Lost!!!! OMG!!!!!!! u almost gave me a heart attact with the REVELATION book the ending? OMG i thought the seris was over cuz there was nothing that said there was a new one coming out but i just found out there is still more so my heart can reast..... till i get my hands on the next ones then ik ull keep me on an emotional rollercoaster OMG! but i love the books i bought 3 over the weekend n i was sick yesterday n 2day n stayed home from school i read all of them...n u allmost gave me a heart attact! i woulda died if there was no more books anyhow i gatta get the next seris n the next 2 books n the last x-mas one wow i got my plate full dont i? anyhow good job on the books there on my top 10 list of seris i love along with the clique seris, n the twilite sagua omg books get me through every tought time i have n life.... <3 Skylar :*

I definitely agree with above (way above). A movie would be fantastic, and it's the perfect kind of book for a movie! I love this series and it's so hard for me to wait until September, but I'll just keep myself occupied with other books until then.

okay so i just finished reading 'Paradise Lost' 2 minutes ago and i am definitely in a state of terrible shock i want to know what happened do Reed? She was left in a devastating state and now she will be the one missing and in trouble for once but i think that it's poppy that choked her and threw her over or someone of her past is about to make a come back. I want to know what happened to Ivy and Josh also because they were like in a passive state the whole time.....im excited and ready for the next book 'Suspicion' to be out all though i have already also started reading the privileged series but i cant wait to see what happens next because we have a fan club at my school and we are all on edge.... WE LOVE YOU KATE BRIAN AND KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK <3 p.s.- i would hate for this to be made into a movie because it would destroy the imagination of the characters and would not be anyway that people would expect and it would take away from the book series.....i hope that you take that into large consideration thanks

WOW! I just finished Paradise Lost like an hour ago and I flipped out when I was done because I thought it was the final book. I couldn't believe you would end the series like that...so I went straight to the computer to see if you were going to do another book...and bless your heart because you are!!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE these books! I can't wait to read the Privlige books too! You are truely amazing!!!

ok so after reading everyones comment i had to reply........ I honestly dont like reed:( yea i know that sounds stupid but i was upset to find out that ivey was shot, not her! ok sorry I am so upset that suspension dosent come out till like september but the longer the wait the better the book. Can you just give a hint about who the person was who is hurting reed? i mean me and my friends talked about it and we said it has to be a guy because of the musty smell and you didnt here there high heels or any beads or anything. I personally think that it is Arianas ex. but i dont know and the SUSPENSION is killing me so please spill just a little or at least to me! i can keep a sercret!
