Dear Kate I loved your book Megan Meade's Guide to the McGowan Boys and had lots of questions you left unanswered, however I will not be discussing them because the last time I tried it wouldn't post my comennt becasue it was too long. So the one thing that is more important then my questions is are you writing a sequal.I am obsessed whith this book and have ead it three times with in three days but the one thing that leaves me unsettled is the ending so I am begging you to write a sequal please. Any way I better stop or this will one again be to long. Jessica

Hi Kate , Im another fan of the Private series and now Im so excited to read the 8th book -Revelation. And I love the Reed-Dash tandem ! Dash is so much better than Josh , so I hope Reed ends up with him.

Dear Kate i love love LOVE the private series. It has to be the best series i have ever read. I just finished Ambition in a day and i absoulutly loved it. I cant wait to hear what happens to Reed. I also have to agree with Mae the whole Reed Dash thing is great! I can hardly wait for September so i can read REVALATION!

Yay! The comments are working! :] Well, I just wanted to say that I love the Private Series. My friends and I can NOT wait for Revelation. It's funny because randomly we would have a conversation about what would happen next in the series. Honestly, I can't think of ANYTHING about how Reed can survive at Billings. And the Ivy/Noelle/Josh/Dash thing going on. It's crazy. I also wanted to say my friends and I can't wait for LAST CHRISTMAS and PRIVILEGE. We've see the covers for both of them and it looks amazing(especially LAST CHRISTMAS).

Hey. It's me again...we can post again right? Well, I totally forgot to comment about the PRIVATE interviews. It was really cool. The model that was interviewed..was she the one in the orange on CONFESSIONS? I have no idea. Anyways, can't wait for more videos. And I kinda agree about Josh. At first I really liked him, and I understood why he wouldn't forgive Reed. But now I'm just a little annoyed about how he's with Ivy now. hey Kate!!! I admire your books soooo.... much!! This has nothing to do with the contest or anything but I just really want to beg you to write a sequel to Megan Meade's Guide to the McGowan Boys..... i would apperciate it emensley!!! I'm thirteen and I'm trying to write a book and I just wanted to tell you that you really inspire me!!!!! Please take me up on my begging because I crave more of Finn and I just can't live with that ending of not knowing what happens later. Anna and Jessica, I totally agree with you. I remember that was my first book I've read by Kate Brian. I messaged her on myspace asking her about a sequel and she replied, "I've talked to my publisher about doing a sequel and it's in their hands right now." But that was a while back. Kate, I also saw on alloyentertainment.com that Meagan Meade's Guide To The McGowan Boys is in development as a comedy series at Nickelodean.

Maria, usually my friends and I would think of theories about what's going to happen next in the book. We just finished reading THE LEGACY and we started thinking of things about what's going to happen in AMBITION.(With Josh, etc.) But, my friends and I have NO IDEA, NO THEORIES about how Reed can get of this problem. But, I do think that Ivy is after Noelle now. (And somehow Reed will help Noelle? I have no idea; but i definately don't think Ivy will get close to killing Noelle) Well, Constance and everyone doesn't like Reed right now. I'm not really sure about Sabine, but I think she'd be mad at her.... I can't think of anybody that will choose Reed's side just because she's Billings President. I mean, Noelle told Reed that she better get out of Billings or it would be a nightmare for her.

hey kate i luv the private series! i also find the love chain interesting. noelle loves dash and he loves reed. reed loves josh and he is dating ivy. i rlly hope reed ends up with dash. josh is soo rude. he doesn't like the fact that reed is in billings and he keeps putting her down. he also cheated on reed and she forgave him but when reed went for dash he tried to gain revenge by going out with ivy. i hate it. ivy is soo crzy. how could she murder chenneye martin? i mean she is worse than ariana osgood. by the way i cannot wait for priviledge. i am worried that last christmas will be the last private novel. plz i hope it isnt. can u plz give us a sneek peek of revalition? i bet i am not the only one who want to no wat happens next. in ambition u left us off in such an interesting part. at this point i cnt even make a logical guess. i no revalition is going to be good.

KATE, i love the private series, i started and finished a book EVERYDAY, and took me a week to read it. when i finished the last one, i didn't know what i was going to do! now i have to wait till SEPTEMBER! i can't wait!!! i was about to die, when i found out that i had to wait until september. i NEED to know what happens with reed! and JOSH :O hes STUPID, for going for ivy.. i GETS BACK TOGETHER :) i love your books kate -frankie (imma girl :P)

PRIYANKA, I wonder what's going to happen next too. I agree with you that if I was Noelle and my bf was cheating I would break up with him. I agree with KAYLA. I think they did pretty good with Alice. Honestly, once I saw the casting list I had so many complaints about the actors/actresses. But, I've grown to like them and their personalities. Watching the different MTV blogs(Cullen Crest, us being called Twilighters, etc.) Those made me like them even better.

I would marry these books, but I'm not old enough. Can't wait until Revelation. Might have to sleep from now until the day it comes out. If you haven't noticed already, I am a die hard Private fan. Anyways, I don't want to spoil it for people but I hope Reed and Josh get back together. They were made for each other and to see Josh with Ivy makes me sick. If they don't get back together things might never be the same in Easton Academy. (Well for me anyways).

Oh yeah and I love Josh. Love HIM. Don't know why most people don't. He is kind, sweet, and sincere. I love the whole artistic vibe. I'd go out with him. But, what is the matter with Reed? It is her fault they are not together. Well, actually Josh did break up with her before. But, why get technical? Is he crazy going out with Ivy, the spawn of all evil? Do you think Gage will be affected because earlier on, Josh told Reed about Gage and Ivy's sex tour. Ew. Hope Josh and Ivy didn't do anything.......you know, that day in Ambition when Josh asked Ivy if she wanted to leave. Then Josh gave Reed that look like we are going to go do what we should have done that day of the legacy but you decided to go off with Dash. A look like this is something that we could have had. It seems like Reed and Josh's business isn't done. They haven't really had that very special moment yet. Jeez, I talk a lot. Maybe its because I don't have anyone to express these feelings to.

Kate, I LOVE LOVE LOVE x 10 the private series. they are ahmazingg. although sometimes I could just kill you because of the stuff that happens in the books. Like at the end of Ambition. and when josh and her werent together anymore. anyways, i love love love how your books make you think something is going to happen, and then the exact opposite happens. me and my bestie are like obsessed with your books and everytime we read them we like scream and jump up and down. haha. and im soo super excited for the books on Arianna Osgood and of course Revelation. If anyone who has read these comments have not read Megan Meade's Guide to the McGowan Boys, then let's just say that they are totally missing out. I've read the Private series and the twilight series and I can honestly say that I love both of them dearly but I would really like the Guide to the McGowan boys to have a second novel. It's an amazing story and I can't stand not knowing what is going to happen -- what with the way it ended... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE WRITE A SEQUEL, and SOOOOOOONNNNN!!!!!

Wait, are you sure 'cause I just looked up pictures of Nick and he looks pretty hot to me. Well not hot but cute. And, he is toned. In the book Reed described Josh Hollis as being toned, not muscular. Plus, he has diabetes, Josh has to take pills, maybe he'd be able to relate in some weird way.

CARRIE, it is Reed's fault for drinking so much and for kissing Dash. She knew what she was doing. But I know where Josh is coming from by breaking up with Reed. I mean, if you saw your boyfriend kissing a girl(like Reed kissing Dash) you'd get mad. I would have broke up with my boyfriend too. But with the Ivy Situation...Yeah, if Ivy really did what Reed thought, then Josh is DEFINATELY in trouble. No doubt. I guess I'd go for a tv show on the Private Series. As long as the actors/actresses are good and the tv show isn't like Gossip Girl. I like watching Gossip Girl but I heard that the show isn't even like the books. Like at all. Can we all take a chill pill. Maria is allowed to have her own opinions. No one has to jump on them. Last i checked it was a free world & all. @ Jacqueline - the books of gossip girl are completely different to the TV show, some of the aspects are the same but most different. i rlly would luv for private to be a tv show. i would not pick nick jonas as josh hollis though. my friend told me the luxe had to do something with gossip girl and it was a good book and she wanted me to read it. i hated it. private series is soo classy and gossip girl is too scandalous. if carrie is rite about the reason she is going out with josh he is in huge touble.

i disagree with carrie. reed was drinking her self. she also must have enough common sense to know wat she was doing. even when reed wasnt wasted she was flirting with dash. she knew it. he knew it. ........ noelle knew it. ivy is kind of like A from pretty little liars. for the peeps who have read that book will agree with me. i vy and A both have secrets and they are dangking them over the head of the people who they belong to. anyody who hasnt read pretty little liars is rlly missing out. and they should also read luck T. it is also by kate brian and has to do with India. jackie will understand where i'm coming from. i am indian and am currently typing this from india.

i think you guys have it all wrong! i really think trey is the culprit here, because i dont think cheyenne even knew that the whole josh thing was a setup. i think trey slipped josh's cell and texted her and then he's the one who put the pills into josh's pill box! because if you think about it, who else has full access to all of josh's things? i think he did it because he was mad for whatever reason he and cheyenne broke up (my guess says it has something to do w.that dominic infante guy) and he knew that if reed saw her and josh, she would tell the dean about cheyenne's hazing and she'd get kicked out! but he ended up killing her and covering it up w. the pills HE used to drug josh..but thats just my guess=] but i do think ivy is gonna do something to noelle or reed that'll break up her and josh..-marisa
