oh my gosh! i new it all along! i had my suspicions she wasn't just a good little girl. but really, u HAVE to do sumthing about the cliff hanger at the end. really? you could put it in perhaps noelles perspective at what happenes after that, did reed just faint, did she die? it is one thing to have a cliff hanger in the middle of a series, but on the last book? i need more!!! (P.s.:they are my favorite series ever!!!)

Nice updates to the website Kate! It's amazing! I was definately confused when reading REVELATION. I mean, first Marc looked suspicious then Amberly. And why Astrid was kicked out. It was a total surprise to find out it was Sabine. I was glad to read that you had some parts with Reed talking to Gage and Trey. It was a total shocker that Sabine is Ariana's sister! And when Sabine took out the gun and pointed it towards Trey's heart! AH! OMG! Only 11 more days!? Dang, can NOT wait! "A whole lot more to the story..." OMG! What does that mean?

Revelation was great! Although, I did guess that it was Sabine the whole time; It was still very good. But I was very suprised when it was said that she was Ariana's sister. I didn't guess that! I also can't wait for Paradise Lost. I'm counting the days till February! This is one of my favorite series!

MORGAN: I totally agree with you. I can't wait to read about Ariana and Thomas too! I mean, I really liked Thomas though we didn't really get to know him. Thomas is such...a bad boy. LOL. OMG! I loved this book! However, i was so sad when I found out that Sabine was the murderer. I thought that it was Amberly the entire time! I found out right when Reed did. I was so excited that Reed and Ivy finally became friends though. I have been waiting for that to happen! :) But I am confused still because I think Reed died but then I just have no idea. Was it her or Josh? I was so pumped that he attempted to save her though! :) What is Paridise Lost? Is that the next book? I thought that this was the last one. Someone please tell me I was wrong. Woah. This was so far my favorite out of the series. I had NOOO idea it was Sabine. I was way beyond surprised, after finishing the book I seriously sat there for at least 5 minutes in shock from everything, thinking back to the clues that it was Sabine in all the other books, and did Josh get shot or did Reed ? Ahhhh such a cliff hanger ! These books are way beyond awesome and I'm so glad I discovered them ! I can't wait for last Christmas, keep up the good work Kate !

Amazing series my teacher saw me reading it and even she said that it was an amazing novel and written well.! BUT I WANT THE NEXT BOOK! Oh yeah and I was thinking.. You know that email that Reed got from dash in ambition but she never read it?? Wells, what if the email said that he knew that ecstasy was in his drink cause he does a sport in college, and if he does play a sport doesnt that mean that hed have to have regular urine tests? OMG! Revelation was so good! I think that neither Reed or Josh got shot (If Josh got shot, I would literally commit suicide) But, I think that maybe Noelle did, because you know how she was behind Reed? OMG i absolutly loved 'Revelation, i was hooked to it. Yeah I just read the chapter of last CHRISTmas, jkjkjk, and it was way better than i thought. WELL THE BEGINNING WHEN ARIANNA KILLED THOMAS. Cause I read the rest in the back of Revelation. Ariannas a b..... at first I really loved Thomas when he died I cried and when Reed was with Josh I was like who cares about friggin Josh find Thomas! I absolutely loved Revelation! But I'm dying to know, will you write a book that continues what happened at the end? I saw that Last Christmas is about what happened before Reed got to Easton, but will there be a book that tells what happened at the end of Revelation?

Dear Kate Brian, I bought Revelation on the Sixteenth, but only started it yesterday because I had to reread the series; the intervals between each due date are so long I forgot everything that had happened. I really liked this book, but I knew the ending because I made the mistake of letting my friend read it before me and she blurted out the ending when she handed it back to me. (Word-for-word, by the way.) I didn't talk to her for the rest of the day. You're one of my favorite authors, along with Stephenie Meyers and Jodi Picoult, but your cliff-hangers are starting to aggravate me. It's like my own personal hell when I finish one of your books and have to wait another three months for the next one. Just keep writing and try to digress from the cliff-hangers. -Josie

Woahh. I read "Revelation" this Friday night (staying up till 1 in the morning on Saturday just to finish), and it was amazing! I just recently got hooked onto the "Private" books, and I finished all of them all in like a week. I was soo suprised about the ending in "Revelation" though. I mean, wow. It was kind of a big suprise to me. I don't think Reed will die though, because I mean, there's another book coming out, so Reed shouldn't die, since all the books are in her point of view anyway. And Josh shouldn't die either, because then Reed wouldn't have anyone to love anymore. Plus I really, really, really like/love Josh! He's a reaally great guy, and he shouldn't die. I really want to know what happens in "Paradise Lost" now! Wow, I'm really in love with the "Private" books now. Thank you Kate Brian for writing such wonderful books! I can't wait until "Last Christmas" comes out, and then "Priviledge" and "Paradise Lost" and all the other "Private" books! Yay!

Revalation was one of the most amazing books ever. I hate to have that cliff hanger in the end though! It just ruined me i need more I'm basically addicted. Also i want to know what the next book is about, from other blogs i learned its called Paradise Lost and it comes out in Febuary! That's a very long time I think I might die. But I can't wait for this new prequel it sounds excitinggggg! Kate your the best! Keep writing!

omg, i just finished reading revelation. it was amazing. i'm happy about last christmas and all but dang!!!! i need to read what happens to reed and josh. i mean, IS REED DEAD? Is she gonna get back into billings?!?!? Are her and ivy friends now? are her and noelle friends now? what the heck was josh going to say to her when they were going to be "alone"? and is sabine in the freak place were ariana was/is? ahhhhh i need to know, i'm going to die if i don't find out you have got to help me out here and boost up the date for paradise lost! I was reading and thinking "The killer is probably going to be somebody completely unexpected, like Josh, or Rose or Portia or Noelle." i think sabine was shot by the cops? or reed/josh was shot in the shoulder. but i dont think that anyone died. esp. not josh. reed can not have 2 dead boyfriends nor can she have 3 people dead becasue of her. no way just no way did she or josh die. i think sabine dies and arianna escapes when she goes to sabines funeral.

okayy so i've been at work for 8 loooong hours thinking about this last book and who else ariana could have killed... i think i might be on to something... what if she killed that daniel guy, you know her boyfriend in the sneak peak of last christmas becasue he sounded like the insane type to go and like get crazy if ariana tried to leave him so she killed him to be with thomas. it makes sense for thomas to compare him and daniel seeing as they were both ariana's love interests. ahhh i don't know. and i think that ariana actually gets out of prison. becasue i mean the next book is called privilege... does that mean she gets another chance? and i'm seriously upset that everyone is getting last christmas already i can't find it anywhere!!!! help anyone? por favor? =]

Well I have my thoughts on the ending of Revelation, and i definetly don't think Reed or Josh is dead, and after that, i think Noelle will forgive Reed, but i think things might still be too weird between Reed and Josh for them to get back together.

I read the sneak peek of Last Christmas, and it's great! At the end of Revelation the first chapter just didn't grab my attention. But I read the prologue...and it was awesome! It had me at the edge of my seat. I'm just wondering; Who else did she kill? The suspense!

i loved all your books in the private series my fav. was Ambition.I loved how Noelle started being reeds friend but i dont think reed was being wrong with dash. she had no clue they where getting back together and i think noelle sent it to everybody. heyy i was bored and googled the private series and wikipedia tells you which characters are which on the cover of the very first book in the series and it said that kate was the one who gave the info. I just read some of the comments and saw that many people have spolied the ending. So I am really hopeing that Reed finally gets the Senior Year she deserves, a boy she loves, Ivy & Noelle & Reed as friends, Reed back at Billings (not forgetting about her new friends though) oh and obviously Sabine locked up in a cell with her sister (confrontation between the three?) Anyway, Reed really deserves a happy ending, so I am really hoping everything goes black because of a concusion from Josh knocking her down, haha. Always hoping for the best =P Anyway, wonderful job with the ending, I had no clue Sabine was capable of anything that she did, but I guess thats the whole idea of the entire series. Please let us know that more novels (Private) are on the way!

I went out to buy it as soon as possible. It was great :) One of the best books yet. My friends suspected Sabine, but I didn't until it was obvious. I hope Reed and Noelle can be friends again, and Reed can be with Josh again. I actually like Ivy now, she's awesome. Keep up the good work! I can't wait for Last Christmas + Paradise Lost.

I read the PROLOGUE for LAST CHRISTMAS. I never knew Kate Brian wrote one! So while I was reading it, it made me teary eyed and it gave me tons of chills! I have someone in mind who I think Ariana killed. It made me even sadder ot know that Thomas really really loved Reed. Gosh, I really liked Thomas.

OMG long time no type lol ive been so busy with school (high school is not as fun as it used to be!) any ways ***********Lauren************** They characters arent on the book...their just models like in this book called clique their not the real people but some of them look like they should be. Also i hate this petition thing: 1-u need to give out ur email which i dont do 2-if u make it into a movie/tv series they ruin the book b/c they add and delete things and sometimes those things are better then nothing for example harry potter (yes ima dork lol jk)and 3-when i see a movie or tv series that was a book it kinda ruins it for me because i visiuals things and when i see something different it basically screws everything up for me.

KATELYN, totally agree with you. I wouldn't want it as a movie/tv show, but that's just my opinion. For English class, I did my book report on REVELATION and my teacher said that I made the book sound very interesting! haha. Also, I'm in high school too. Can't wait for LAST CHRISTMAS!

I know how all of u feel! i finished reading Revelation on like th 3rd day it came out,( my frend wanted 2 read it 1rst)! th ending was such a shocker! my frendz and i couldn't believe it! i'm practically falling out of my seat 4 Lost Paradise 2 come out! i need 2 know what happens next! I read the book in 1 day it was soo good. I didn't see anything coming at all. Everything was so unexpected! I seriously thought it was going to be Amberly, Ivy, or Noelle. I can't wait to find out what happened to Reed and Josh. I couldn't put the book down because I wanted to know what was going to happen. It left off with a cliffhanger, can't wait for the next one in the series! [:

OMG revelation was a total shocker the fact that Sabine was the killer this whole time! i REALLy never thought that. And im really excited because this shows that the whole thing between Reed and Dash was an accident and now Josh and Reed can be back together and Noelle and Reed can be best friends again, although im not sure about Ivy. I'm itching to see if anyone died though. Is Paradise LOst gonna be the last book? I hope not anyway i can't wait til February, how about early december or late november?

The way the books are coming out are Revelation (allready out...duh), Last Christmas (3 days bby), Paradise Lost (Feb. 24 2009 and i hope that changes into an earlier month, pleasy please please Kate :( with a cherry on top), and then Suspician (they still dont know when its coming out hopefullysoon)

Holy Crap! Everyone who thought that Revelation was amazing and heart-pounding (which it was) is going to have a total HEART ATTACK when they read Last Christmas!!!!! It is phenomenal! I couldn't put it down and finished it in roughly 4 hours. You really get into Ariana's head. I don't want to ruin it for anyone but I just have to say this: Daniel has the same birthday as me! lol.

OMG!!! i absolutely loved revelation! it was sssooo awesome! i read the last page in the book and saw ariana's name so i thot that maybe she escaped but then i found out that it was actually the last page to the 1st chaper of privleged! If Josh died I will hit whoever is nearest me when I read it. And maybe i'll cry. And I will hate this series. I really hope somebody just got shot in the arm or something, and Josh dumps Ivy because she was so bitchy to Reed, and Josh wants to date Reed but can't decide but eventually does. Ivy dating Josh is so ruining this book for me.

O. MY. GOD. basically half my school is hooked on private and we do this thing where the first person to buy one of the books basically gets ambushed and has to have like, a waiting list so everyone can get it. i was 3rd on the list for Revelation and it was SO GOOD! will there be a clip from Paradise Lost in Last Christmas? i'm dying for more!

wow. wow. wow. the ending was completely crazy! didn't expect that one at all!! and gosh i hope Reed and Josh are okay! ...and hopefully if they both survive they'll get back together.. since now Josh knows that Reed didn't cheat on him with Dash on purpose. oh boy! i'm excited! REVELATION was the best from all of them.. i just wished that josh and reed ended up together.. and i hope that josh is okay :) it never said if he made it out okay but i hope he did.. and reed i hope she is okay..i know maybe she didnt make it but maybe she is like in a coma or something and when she wakes up or something she and josh will get back together..i dont think that happened but i'll pretend it did :)

Revelation was amazing! I couldn't stop reading it once i started. The ending was totally shocking and i really hope Josh is ok, i really hope he doesn't die he's so awesome. Hey Kate. Revalation was amazing. I loved it. I literally finished Revelation ten minutes ago. I'm not exaggerating when I tell you that I cannot breathe. Everyone, you should definately read Last Christmas before you read Revelation, if you haven't already. It just makes everything more dramatic. But seriously, I have never had a book shock me the way Revelation did! I'm actually glad that Ivy & Reed became almost friends, or alliances away. Although that will all be blown when Reed & Josh get back together, but it'll be worth it. Reed & Josh are going to get back together right?! Because I know they both have to be alright, they have to! :)

haha. yeah sophomores rule! :) I would be devastated if Josh dies. More devastated than Thomas dying. (Which is a BIG thing, I was like depressed the past days after I read that Thomas was dead). You know how Ivy kept saying that Noelle is going to get it(as in like karma is coming for her....)well, i'm positive that Ivy has nothing to do with the whole situation but what if Noelle gets shot?

Reverlation blew my mind. me and my friends kind of started our own little book club at school with just the private series and when we all finished we weer at a loss of words. we are all speculating what really happened at the end of it. i'm so excited to read paradise lost, although i do agree, i wish it would come out earlier then freburary. this is the best book series i have ever read. your absolutly brilliant kate brian. x0Nix

Hey Kate Just finished Revelation and I am still in shock over the twist in the book I followed Reed throughout most of the book but I added in my own suspects I added Noelle and Trey even though I was mostly suspicious of Amberly and Ivy. I couldnt believe my eyes when I read that Reed and Ivy teamed up and started hunting for Cheyennes killer together.I was very surprised to read about the photo of Sabines I knew instantly after reading that part that Ariana and Sabine were sisters but I was still really surprised when I found out that Sabine was the stalker murderer. I am so relieved to find out that there is to be a 9th book as I originally thought Revelation was the last one and after that you were doing first Christmas and your spin off series based on Ariana. I will be anxiously awaiting the 9th book in 2009. Thank you Kate for writing such an amazing series that keeps me on the edge of my seat. You can bet on me picking up your next books. Keep going girl.

Amazing! When I glanced at the cover, I had suspicions about Sabine, but I SO did not expect Ariana and Sabine... this series just gets more and more addictive, and not to mention suspenseful. Who got shot?! Reed or Josh?! Dang, I hope it missed both of them... Anyway, I absolutely love all the plot twists and cannot wait until February :D

Wow, I can't believe how stunning that book was. :) I picked up the first book of the series without much intention of reading it, but it turned out so...epic! I was pretty much as insane as Reed in Revelation to find out who killed Cheyenne! :( So Reed isn't dead? That's what I thought happened, and I freaked. Can't wait for the other books! AWESOME SERIES! <3

Okay so I finished Revelation and I'm really confused about how it ended. Did Reed die, or Josh? Will there ever be an explanation or is it up to us to decide? I'm really hoping that there will be more to come, I can't imagine it ending that way.

Wow! these books are like amazing! There are so many cliff hangers. I soooooo can't wait to find out about Thomas and Ariana. I loved Revelation! Totally did not see Sabine as being the murder or being Ariana's sister. I am however glad Reed was drugged because I never really believed she would cheat on Josh! She loves him! Speaking of which if you killed Josh I am so done with the series I mean if he just found out it was not her fault like it was not his fault and now they dont get to be together...it will be totally depressing. I am sad the books about Ariana are coming up before we find out what happened to Reed I mean personally I care more about what happens to Reed and could care less about Ariana. I'll still read the books about Ariana but there is no way they will be as good as the books about Reed. PLEASE get the next Private book out soon!

I love this series. It is so addicting I just want to lick. Not really but still. I just finished Revelation like twenty minutes ago and have been trying to type a comment for a while. I don't think anyone died. I just think that someone got shot like in the leg or something because Sabine wasn't looking. She seemed mad enough but when she closed her I eyes I think she knew what she was getting into when she pulled that trigger. Paradise Lost MUST come out earlier than the due date. It is just way too long to way. I mean do you want to kill us of anticiption, Kate?? I love your books and you are a great writer. I really hope this series will go on forever and ever and ever. Oh my gosh I LOVED Reading revalation. I stayed up til like 2 in the morning reading it all the day i bought it. There are so many questions I have now though. I hope Reed and Josh are okay and I hope everythings going to work out with Noelle. Can't wait for the next book!!

hey kate; man i thought i was the only one who read these books, but there are ALOT of people reading them. there amazing. there so good i usually read one in like two days. but i do have one question, will there be another book after revelation? there has to be. that ending killed me! i need to know who died. you should have seen me in soc. claass. i blurted out loud "WHAT THE HECK". lets just say the teacher wasnt very happy:) but any ways, your books are amazing. ps.you should make a tv show:) that would be killer awesome! thanks -kellsie

Kate i love ur series! Its the best one ive read so far! I wish paridise lost would be out sooner! Im dying to know if Reed and Josh are okay! (not literaly) (lol) And if they are, are they gonna get back together and what will happen with Noelle and will they still be able to go to the party? Also will everyone go back to Reed and will she get back into Billings and if so will she be president again? AHHHHH so many questions and no books!!!! :( but i know if we want a good sequal we all need to be patient......as we can be :)

ohm,igod! i was totally shocked when I figured it out. i was 99.9% sure that Ivy had killed Chyanne, and when Reed found that pic of Sabine and Ariana...it totally threw me off. i can't wait for the next book, and for privelege! wow...Sabine. im just in shock... she seemed so sweet and innocent...its unbelievable. wow. :)

OMIGOSH. Even though he's kinda innapropriate and stuff (lol) I totally forgave Thomas for everything he made Reed feel after reading Last Christmas. Arianna is insane! That's so freaky! Of course he wouldn't like her anymore! It's so weird, there are some characters I'm like omj i need to meet them and then other ones im like geez im glad they don't really exist... lol. great job, you're really inspiring! keep making these books forever, i will be reading them even when im old!!!

Oh my freakin god i loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooved revelation sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much it is so good!!!! i know it may sound weird but my favorite character is Ivy ;) I mean now that she's w/ Josh we realize there has to be something good about her. Hey! oh my gosh, these books are so good!!!!!! I read all eight in two days:) that's how good they were, and honestly I had no idea who the killer was in Revelation, the end was amazing. The cliff hanger pratically killed me, but it was great. Oh and Reed and Josh have to get back together!!!
