SOMEBODY'S GOT TO SAY IT

Cate Sloane here, with a Sloane house newsflash. I’m all for style as a form of self-expression, but two out of three of my sisters are in obvious need of a fashion intervention. The art of post-soccer-practice apparel is lost on Andie—who seems to have missed the point of post-practice showering, too. And Lola—well, let’s just say, her cat Heath Bar seems to know more about accessorizing than she does.

Given this sad state of affairs, I propose it’s time to institute a Sloane house dress code.

Rule #1: Layered tees are cool, but an old t-shirt over a layer of sweat is gross (Andie!)

Rule #2: Matching your sweats to your orange Tabby cat’s fur is not a form of accessorizing (Lola!)

Rule #3: When you can't afford the latest designer trends, shop low-end chic like H&M (duh?)

Got any suggestions for Rule #4? Do tell.

I disagree with her too. Anna Carey wrote this book well. She looked for criticism in every character. Not cool... -Cate Sloane

Rule #4: Try to have one signiture style. A bag that you always have or a something quirky like a necklace you wear with every outfit. It's stylish and shows that you have individuality.

Rule #4: NEVER EVER copy your sister's style. (Andie!) Rule #5: The fat orange thing is never to leave a "gift" on someones shoes again!! or it will be living in the basement. (Lola & cat!!!) P.s. no Offence Cate but what is with your face in the pic?!? p.p.s. i know rule5 doesn't have anything 2 do with fashion (well except for your shoes) but you really should set some rules about which rooms Lolas cat can be allowed in. for the sake of your shoes i mean

Uhh...Im just a little confused. Ok the people that are on the front of the books, their pictures are at the top of each blog cause they are the characters and all and they say there Cate Sloane or Lola or whatever but thats not thier actual names is it? I dont mean to sound stupid or anything but im just wondering. Lol O_o
