DANGEROUS HEIGHTS

picture of Andie

Here’s the long and the short of it: I’m 4’11.’’ Not sooo short, but definitely not model tall. So, this weekend I picked up the most awesome pair of Kate Spade wedges at Bergdorf’s to give me a little boost. The only problem? I can’t walk in them! Are you a high heel maven? What are your tips for staying balanced?

Hey its Felicia. Well I always practice walking with heels in my room especially before I wear them out. Walk on all kinds of surfaces so your ready for anything and always practice walking up and down stairs! lol. Make sure to scuff your feet on the ground outside to keep the shoes from being slippery. Just make sure not to ruin your awsome shoes! Lol, I love wedges I just got a pair of Ugg wedges for my b-day :) Hope I Helped -Felicia <3 !!

So what if youre 4'11, if modeling is your dream, go for it. You can't succeed if you don't try.Just keep practicing and you'll get . But you could also by different heights in heels and just practice on and once you master that on you just keep going up.

I am only 13 and I never wear high heels because they are just not "in" where I live for kids my age. But, I do like to go in my mom's closet and wear her heels. One way to practice is to wear wedges because they give you more support. Try and wear those a lot! Then then you become more stable you can try other heels. Walking around the house in your heels will make a huge difference! xoxo alex

Just practice a lawt and start with wedges or two-inch heels. Walk around your house, then when you get better walk around other places in your neighborhood. And Camilla Morton's book "How to Walk in High Heels" has ah-mazing advice. xoxo alphagossipgirl
