BACK TO BRITAIN?

Just to let you in on a little secret: I’ve totally been planning my own British getaway! Sometimes I feel like I’ve left something behind at our old flat—and I’m not just talking about my favorite Chloe bag. The old Stella, I fear, is still stuck overseas. But convincing Emma Childs to let me fly all the way across the ocean to reconnect with myself and my old friends is no easy task. What tactics do you use to make your parents see things your way?

Well, my dad pretty much agrees with whatever I want to do unless it's life threatening....: ) my mom is one tough cookie, however. I have to wear her down and pretend to actually be interested in my studies for a few days in a row.

You should soooo tell your Mom that it would be a good thing for you!;) You could reconect with your past trust me if you tell your Mom what she wants to hear you've got a good chance of her saying YES!!!:) Soooo tell her your atitude well change and you well be more opened to your new family! If that doesn't work you must resort to drastic mesures, break down, beg, and cry...!!!:) Good luck!!!:)

My dad is so easy to get to, but my mom, OOH, i have to tell her how good it would be for me to visit my friends for a couple weeks.

well what i always tell my parents is that i am old enough to make my own decisions and if i want to do something its cuz i really want to and i feel secure try that! and stella ur so pretty!

I think that you should just tell ur mom the truth that u miss ur old friends. becuz im sure she understand that and maybe she will let u cuz sometimes i ask my parents for stuff and i just tell them the truth and sometimes they give me want i want cuz i was being honest and not lying about it. I think u should talk to ur mom becuz im sure she will understand, that it was hard for u to move. Sometimes u will actually be surprised about the aswer. becuz it may not have been the answer u expected.
