STATE OF THE UNION

IN: MESSY :: OUT: BUTTONED UP

Summer’s the time to let loose, and your clothes should reflect your laidback attitude. Boot your button-down shirts and prissy plaids to the back of your closet, and make room for some loose fits and boho patterns. What are your tips for achieving a look that’s as chilled out as your attitude?

What I'm wearing allot this summer is: torn jeans shorts and lose colorful tops. My accessories vary with what I'm wearing. I love the Boho idea! I have some boho dresses that look ah-dorable with gladiator sandals.

There's going to be a Clique DS game but I forget when it's going to come out. It's called "Diss and Make up". I am not lying. If you don't believe me, go on www.bn.com and look up the game. You'll be sure to find it.

it's super hot in california so jeans in the summer = no-no. i usually wear my ancient citizens cutoff shorts with a sheer camp shirt from martin + osa or american eagle tucked in with a thrift store belt and ecote sandals from urban outfitters. and i recently got this v. cute floppy hat from j. crew for only 10 bucks! score!

I love when I get out of the pool to put on a white button down Ralph Lauren oxford and then just spraying Bumble and Bumble styling cream in and scrunching my hair so I have beach waves. It looks amazing lol. Try it, it will give you looks and it will turn heads.

use scarves as a swim cover up. tottally cute and saves u from having to buy a swim cover up. just find a fashion scarf tie it around the bottom piece of ur bikini (or one piece) and its perfect for the beach. when my sister did it at least 8 guys starred at her. it so works.
